Old school goodness

So if you're looking for the latest in molecular gastronomy and that kind of thing, this is not going to be your slice of fish. It's a really old school kind of place. The waiters look like they are a hundred years old but they move around with the sprightliness I've experienced in most service... read more

If you pass by Coruna, you must pass by this restaurant. It is not a tatpas bar or siilar, but it is the place where for 1, 2, 3,....nights you want totreat yourself well, this is the place to go hands down. Excellent food waitstaff and perfect quality/quantity/price. On my "go to list" whenever in town and if I have... More

Four years ago my wife and I spent a week in La Coruña and discovered the Restaurante Coral. This restaurant was founded in 1954 and the sons of the original owner now run the restaurant. It has won four major culinary prizes. The restaurant is elegant and is moderately priced, with most entries costing less than 20 euros. The service... More

The best food I have had since many years in Spain . This is really very good & better than many Michelin star restaurants I have had food before . I travel around the world & rate it amongst my Top 10 restaurants. I shall recommend it strongly to All My Indian friends who travel to Coruna . Lobster salad... More

This restaurant has family connections to "Pablo Gallego" another fine restaurant where we ate the previous evening . It is situated on the main road facing the marina . The staff are all dressed in black trousers , waist coats and ties , it is like going back in time , good old fashioned top class service . The food... More

Coral was recommended to us by the desk clerk at our hotel, Blue Coruna. We told her we liked good seafood; without any hesitation she sent us here, about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. Great dinners! I had hake, my wife had jumbo prawns. Both dishes were perfectly prepared. For dessert, flan, of course-- delicious! Service was excellent and... More

Our hotel concierge recommended this charming restaurant because we wanted to dine at a good seafood restaurant. It's elegantly decorated in an old world style, which I love. Superb and beautifully presented food. The scallop appetizers were especially divine as was the white asparagus. Everything was delicious. The service was outstanding. Don't hesitate to go, it was a lovely, romantic... More

This restaurant is a great place to go if you want good quality ingredients cooked in a masterful way, with very attentive wait staff. When they noticed my husband struggling to read the menu, they brought him a box with three grades of reading spectacles and they attended to every need in the same style, anticipating our every need. Food... More

It was excellent!! We went for dinner but we cold not go in because they were full, we went back the next day for lunch. Excellent, but a little bit pricy, but it is worth every penny, because the quality is excellent.
