So the salt baked sea bream is truly fantastic. My mouth waters every time I think about it. Relaxed with great friendly service and a sea view. Totally unpretentious. Prawns a great too!

Still one of the best in Sitges. Professional but personal service; excellent food and wine. No outside dining but good location and aircon. A favourite in Sitges.

We had a list of restaurants to try during our recent 3 day visit to Sitges, but ended up cancelling the rest and stuck to El Velero after our first meal there. The location is perfect for watching the world go by, especial when seated in the greenhouse. Decor is warm and inviting. The service during all of visits was... More

We read at a recommendation in a different restaurant that El Velero was the best one in Sitges. Yes, it really was. The food was very well perpared, the paella was fantastic and the wine list had a good selection of wines and cavas. The staff recommended us a Cava that would suit the food we chose, and it really... More

Once again we had an excellent meal in this,my favourite restaurant in sitges!! We ate there twice, once a la carte and secondly the degustation ( thank you so so much for bringing this back)!! The food was amazing and the service was brilliant! I particularly like the variation on Coquilles Saint Jacques!! To sum up this dining experience in... More

Just back from another holiday in Sitges. We were lucky to have two meals at El Velero; the first, a la carte and the second the resurrected 'degustation menu'. The a la carte was stunning and the degustation superb (thank you for reintroducing this). Always the highlight of our holiday and, without question, the best restaurant in Sitges. Our party... More

Restaurant offers a good quality of food. The degustation menu is a dream. The selection of wines on offer is surperb. Thye family run restaurant offers great service. Always a good meal.

Food is well prepared. But the Fideua is poor in fish. Ice cream is homemade. If you don't ask for the Menu (not expensive and very good), they will not give it to you spontaneously...atmosphere and service are pleasant.

Food, good but not special. Service lacking. Not our best experience this year in Sitges. My salad with goat cheese was very good, the ladies reported the gaspacho was delicious, and the smoked salmon with white asparagus were all popular. Then the fideua and pallea came out and were average and our server vanshed and we were on our own.... More
