Went there on the recommendation of the hotel concierge and it is a little difficult to find (but be persistent!). It is a small restaurant and there were no tables available however we waited not for very long for a table to e prepared next to the kitchen. I'm not going to labour the point but the tapas is executed... More

Had a fantastic lunch here with great wine. The Iberian ham was divine. Service was prompt and friendly. Couldn't ask for any more!!

Stopped here on our 5th night of tapas crawling Barcelona and Sitges. This is THE one to come back to. The patatas bravas must not be missed. Look a bit like spring rolls and taste divine. Don't know how they do this with potatoes. Great meats (wagyu) etc. we were originally only going to have two or three dishes as... More

Fantastic tapas here. Can't recommend the twist on patatas brave highly enough and I didn't think it could be improved upon in its original form. Make sure you get these, they are stunning. In fact, all the food was stunning as was the wine, the coffee and desserts. I don't think there is a bad dish on the menu. You... More

So, the restaurant we wanted to go to was not open, ( Mondays are only about 50% open), so we wandered into El Pau. And thank goodness we did. What a very interesting menu. Don't expect sliders and French fries, although they do have a hamburger if you want. We told the waiter we were in his hands and he... More

Recently have written a couple of negative reviews, so this one is my trip advisor redemption ;-) Small restaurant, not a huge menu or a wine list, but all perfectly thought through. The place offers Spanish cuisine with a French touch and some modern twists even Japanese touches on the chicken, beef and noodles. Hint: the food photography around the... More

Stopped at El Pou after having had a couple of tapas at a previous bar, made effort to speak Spanish despite poor mastery of language. Waiter was very sour and curt from the start despite restaurant being virtually empty. Ordered 2 glasses of wine then perused menu looking for a couple of tapas. Ordered the Wagyu burgers and the sausages... More

We went on the last night of our holiday together with friends and had a great time. The food is absolutely delicious and as we were undecided what to order from the menu as everything sounded amazing, the waiter offered to bring us a selection which was a great idea. The foie gras croquettes are stunning, the wagu beef burger... More

We went to this restaurant on the last night of our holiday and the good was not a disappointment. Really, really good tapas brought to the table one item at a time to enjoy. We were helped by the staff in selecting a beef dish to finish with which didn't disappoint it was melt in the mouth good...and another plus... More
