Sitges is one of those places you can not miss if you are in Barcelona. A simple 30 min train ride from the Rodalies station at Passeig de Gracia and you arrive at this little bit of heaven. Once there, walk into the downtown area, and down a small cobblestone street you find El Celler Vell. You can sum your... More

I went to this fantastic place with my wife and my mother in law. This was recommended by my mother in law as a place she has enjoyed recently. We had great food and service. Wish I lived here so I could enjoy this more often.

I've visited Sitges before and have found a number of restaurants that I enjoy, but my most recent experience at El Celler Vell was exceptional. It has a warm, friendly dining room with a unique view down into the old wine cellar. We enjoyed a very nice array of local appetizers and then a delicious main course. My wife had... More

Celler Vell is the antidote to the many tourist traps in Sitges. It's one of the last good traditional restaurants that's not charging stupid prices. Some of the menu is quite creative. My favourite dessert is the Leche Frita (fried milk!) The service is always friendly. Go a couple of times and they'll know you by your first name! Booking... More

This was the second time we have visited this venue now. Both times we have left with full bellies and warm memories. The venue itself has a lovely rustic/local feel to it. The staff are extremely welcoming, they did not speak a lot of English, but this did not effect their welcoming nature. There is an English menu and the... More

A fantastic little restaurant in the heart of Sitges. Quality Catalan food prepared by the owner, and served by his friendly, always smiling wife. Great atmosphere.

Go here for having a great selection of Catalan recipes. Food is great and the friendly service. It is getting popular so sometimes it is wise to make a reservation.

Great people here, and of course the food is authentic and high-quality. It's on a side street, off the beaten path, and lots of locals go here. Very nice atmosphere, on the small side; the decor is very old-world Spanish. We've been to may places in Sitges while on business and holiday-this is easily one of my favorites.

Enjoyed a beautiful meal here on the final night of our holiday having decided to seek out a restaurant that was a little more expensive - that said this sin't massively expensive. We enjoyed the restaurant specials of duck and medallions of tenderloin both of which were cooked to perfection (medium). Delicious wine, friendly staff and traditional surrounding.

Gem of a restaurant down the side lanes with a good atmosphere. Good quality food and the service was excellent. Local rose wine was also very good. The tapas starter menu for two was lovely, especially the calamari. I would definately recommend you try this restaurant out.
