Great location, good service, delicious wine but the best was the meatballs with squid - we had to order two portions it was so good!

We got there for lunch before continuing our tour. The don't serve lunch until 1 pm so we ordered tapas: Patatas bravas, pulpo a la plancha, veal sliders, sorpresa Ibérica con vieira, and the crema catalana with foie gras. We were more than happy with the service and the quality. Portions are smaller than in atraditional bar. Not disappointing at... More

My wife and I had dinner here tonight. We both had the melon soup with ham for a starter and then I had grilled squid and my wife had an excellent Monkfish - first time that she had eaten it and it was suggested by the waiter. The service was a little slow, but the food was certainly worth waiting... More

After reading the others reviews I think that we had bad luck so the only good thing was the wine. We ordered mussels for the first dish (terrible & rotten). The waiter retired them fast. The second dish was "paella", one of the worst that I've ever tasted. I'm agree with a lot of people: the waiting service is bad,... More

I had two terrible meals in Girona the day before and was almost determined to cook my own dinner in the service apartment. After a day out in Figueres, I thought of giving Girona another chance. I am glad I did. It was a rainy evening with a parade about to happen so the restaurant was quite empty. I got... More

We came in from Barcelona and wanted something easy. We had 6 different tapas and were happy with everything we had. The staff was extremely friendly. The salt cod was amazing.

I had a really good dinner here and couldn't believe the amount of food served when you choose the "fixed price menu". They use a lot of olive tapenade soaked sure you enjoy olives before you eat here!

We went there last weekend for Girona 10. A lot of restaurants in the city offer 3-course meals for 10€ + 1€ for charity. I'd say that almost all of the restaurants are fully booked during this weekend, but we we're lucky enough to find a spot in Boira to weeks before due to a cancelled booking. The previous day... We were looking for a light lunch as we were booked to eat at El Cellar de Can Roca in the evening. Each of us selected 2 or 3 tapas and a glass of wine. All the tapas were very tasty and two tapas was quite sufficient for me. Bread was provided. The wine was interesting and we took the... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by locals. Sat outside for a leisurely lunch from the set menu. Portions were big, service swift and friendly.
