Tasty food, good price, great setting

Late Saturday night heading up to the Placa de la Independencia I had no idea what to expect, and was met by a wall of cheerful chatter, a blaze of light, and a wonderful social scene. I dropped by on a midweek evening, they serve tapas all day but the set menu from 8pm, so as I was a little early I had a small beer outside. The service was very attentive, and promptly I was given an English menu on time. For €20 you get a 3 course meal with fresh bread & bottled water.... More

Location top notch. Service easygoing but completely informative. Conversation amongst friends quickly centered on the food. What a treat!

The many was very good price. Having 3 dishes and wine or bread and water is worth the price. Out of four 2 tried the menus and 2 the tapas. Can recommend the tomato tart and the olives. In the menu the tomato plus mozzarella and the potato omelet was nice. The service was okay, buzzy at lunch so we... More

I cannot say this was the best experience, but it is because the place is overcrowded. A lot of people come. I was on the flowers festival in Girona, and found the place - tried a goat cheese salad, fresh cooked fish and chocolate semifreddo. I got a lot of time, so I just enjoyed the view waiting for waitress... More

I have enjoyed many meals in Boira over the years; most memorably a long lunch which turned into a dinner in October last year with perhaps 20 of my friends; we were seated outside, the servers were exteremely accommodating and the food we ordered (along with the wine of course) was wonderful. However I ate here with four of my... More

We got there for lunch before continuing our tour. The don't serve lunch until 1 pm so we ordered tapas: Patatas bravas, pulpo a la plancha, veal sliders, sorpresa Ibérica con vieira, and the crema catalana with foie gras. We were more than happy with the service and the quality. Portions are smaller than in atraditional bar. Not disappointing at... More

My wife and I had dinner here tonight. We both had the melon soup with ham for a starter and then I had grilled squid and my wife had an excellent Monkfish - first time that she had eaten it and it was suggested by the waiter. The service was a little slow, but the food was certainly worth waiting... More
