Gracias a los hermanos Roca... just an amazing experience for the second time. One suggestion tough: do not take the wine package but let you guide through the huge wine book by the staff and discover regional wines. ENJOY

I have been to this place four times in the last two years with friends and family, and I definitely think this is one of the most enjoyable food experiences I ever had. This place is located in a quite humble area of Girona, where the Roca family has their roots. The restaurant is very well decorated and feels like... More

I won't bore you with superlatives. I can honestly say that this is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. It may not have the wonderful setting you got at el bulli but the restaurant itself is beautiful. The food is sublime and the wine flight is well judged with some interesting wines

My husband surprised me for my Birthday last October 2013. He made a reservation online good for 4 persons after they announced the Best Restaurant in the World. We had the wonderful experience of being able to eat here at The No. 1 Best Restaurant in the World 2013. The service was excellent right from the start through to the... More

What an amazing experience....a 60th birthday treat. We had the full menu and opted for the wine with each course. Splendid food, splendid service, informal and a real experience. I only hope to return one day !

El Celler de Can Roca is a must experience .. at least for some in a life time for others a yearly variation. I usually stay just half an hour away in El Pati de Peratallada that I discovered to be a travelling hub in the region without the traffic in the bigger cities! The wine list (a giant book)... More

This restaurant was amazing - from the way they brought the outdoors indoors. The food was exciting and nothing like what I have ever eaten. One disappointment was that I wanted to finish with some cheese which they charged me extra considering I had gone for their full tasting menu. One word of advice, if you go with the full... More

There is a reason why this was the best restaurant in the world and since I'm yet to visit noma I can't imagine how they lost first place without comparing :-) The experience we had went far beyond being called a "meal" From the moment you walk through the door to the moment you walk out they take you on... An excellent meal, in a world-class restaurant. Had a 5-hour lunch here. 14 course meal, with tasters I guess 21 courses in total. If I look for things to criticize, I could say the one shrimp that was baked in some dough, was a bit chewy. In addition, I got two glasses of wine where there was a lot of... More
