Booked via internet. Location is easy to find, its on the road with the railway nr centre of Girona. Its the type of location to select if you're on holiday for a special meal. Its High end dining. The food is very nice, the prices are high but thats what you have to expect for a very well prepared and... More

We choose the gourmet tasting menu at 85 Euro plus the accompanying wine at 39 Euro for our first meal in Girona and what a joy it was from start to finish. The menu strode through the whole gambit of ingredients from sea and land and each was an exciting exploration offered by a master chef concocting like a magician... More

Our first choice in Girona Spain was to dine at El Celler de Can Roca famed as the No 1 restaurant in the world however they were taking reservations for late 2014!! Our second choice was the other Michelin star restaurant in Girona - Massana. Not easy to find in a back street with no real distinctive sign or entrance.... More

A group of 13 of us enjoyed the Gourmet Menu / Wine selection at Massana. The food was very good, and innovative (yoghurt foi gras, red tuna on lentil stew with bacon and wakame seaweed, coconut banana guacamole...) We had the wine selection with this -- very good wines, and very good value. The staff were efficient and friendly. To... More

We visited Massana early on a Friday evening (20:30) which was the only reservation we could get at short notice. Even still, the restaurant was getting busy and there was a nice atmosphere. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but inside has the feeling of a high class restaurant. We had the 7-course tasting menu, which was excellent!... More

We had a tasting menu with wines for our anniversary...a present from some dear friends local to the restaurant. The meal was superb, the wines matched well, the service was perfect and the atmosphere delightful. We will be back! Highly recommended .

Short review: It passed the test of a second visit after a great first experience. Expectations where high, it was my birthday and they delivered (and they had a very nice detail bringing an improvised birthday candle in a complimentary dessert) Food is delicious. It plays on the safe side of modern cuisine, similarly to the other great restaurant in... More

Fantastic lunch in a very good restaurant. Super food with a great wine list. Good for business lunches but not very romantic.

A very friendly welcome. The owner and chef Pere Massana takes great pride in his kitchen and the customer experience.
