Fabulous restaurant in the historic centre of Girona

Really good restaurant in the middle of the old city centre of Girona. The salads and 'big plates' are indeed really big but also really good! They also serve good wines. If you want to be sure you have a seat it might be good to reserve ahead cause it can get busy here.

My husband and I enjoyed a set menu, for Temps de Flors. The menu included drinks and coffees. The first course of salad was huge and very yummy. It contained lots of fruit, melon, apple and strawberries. The second course was not so large but tasty. Altogether, we had an enjoyable meal and we weren't rushed.

I craved a salad as I'd had enough of Tapas - as enjoyable as it is, so this restaurant in a good position, fitted the bill. My daughter who lives in Spain was given a local menu and I was given an English menu, however it was confusing as the portion sizes differed in both menus, it wasn't made clear... More

On the advice of our resident local we shared salads and one meat dish which was ample for three. We chose the duck with fig sauce and it did not disappoint. The ingredients were all fresh and tasty and the whole experience very enjoyable. Prices are reasonable for this quality.

Visited Draps upon the recommendation of my daughter who lives in Girona. Decided to sit outside and squeeze 3 onto a 2 table as the restaurant inside was packed and very hot. Served by a delightful waitress who explained the menu perfectly. Food was very good, portions were incredibly generous and very reasonably priced. Shift changed and our delightful waitress... More

...otherwise your review will turn to be as low as mine. We started with a no cava copa (everyone around got one as a welcome but not us, probably because we were tourists), we had some ham (badly cut and with some mold), then a very good cod and a no sweet: we ordered one (and it was finished), a... Lovely little restaurant with great food on a quaint street in the old town. We had lunch here - lobster cannelloni and one of the best salads we've ever had. A real little gem. Highly recommended!

During our short stay in Girona this restaurant was always busy. We visited on Monday 27th October when many other decent restaurants were shut. We enjoyed everything -the service, the food, the ambience and the background music. Great value too and good wine. Long may their success continue.

Going for dinner on a Sunday night isn't easy as many of the local restaurants are closed. We are staying close to this restaurant and noticed that it was full every night so decided to give it a try. Our waitress was very helpful in explaining the concepts of shared dishes on the menu. We had foie gras which was... More
