We just loved this restaurant. It was so different. The sewing theme was so different. The tapas was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced . The location of the restaurant was also beautiful. We were so pleased we stumbled upon it.

Went here on the night before we went to Le Cellier de Roca. It became our local favourite. The food was excellent; the service was flexible and personal. In addition, they were willing to go the extra mile to satisfy our needs. Even after closing on a holiday, they let us have a couple of pints in the shadow. For... More

Ate at El Didal the other day because I saw it once, walking by, and it looked cute and attractive. Turns out it looks great from outside, but the inside is something different. I won't mention in depth the decoration as I don't really care but it wasn't to my taste (sewing machines, irons, and iron boards all over the... More

Chances are that if you have dined here, you will enjoy the walk home. This little restaurant is set up level with the Cathedral amongst the historic warren of steps and narrow alleyways in the Jewish old quarter. So not only do you work up an appetite walking up there, when you leave, it's all downhill back to river and... More

I am from Riverside, California USA. I came with a Meetup.com group to visit the Cathedral. We decided to stop at this restaurant. I ordered the Gratin Asparagus with York and Cheese for my first plate and Homemade Hamburger stuffed with Foie Gras for my second plate. The first plate was prepared excellent. The second plate had too much oil... More

Yes, I agree that this was the best tapas that we have eaten in Spain. The prices are good too - for four people, the total came to 90 euros with two bottles of wine and way too much food - that was our own fault, we actually went over their recommended number of tapas per person but that was... Good tapas dinner establishment off the beaten track in old town Girona. Food was good with a wide variety of dishes for multiple palates. ( ordered 6 items plus 2 desserts, for 2 people and it was plenty of food. yum!) We showed up a few minutes before they opened for dinner and Enrique welcomed us in. He found us... More

We loved this restaurant which is quirky and different, so much so that we went for dinner and then lunch during our stay in Girona.it is near the cathedral, the propietor is young and friendly with a great sense of humour and the menu has some unusual dishes on it. The food was delicious!

Myself and a small party of friends wanted a fairly light meal as we had a large lunch reservation the next day. Having read the Trip Advisor reviews I decided this would be an ideal restaurant and attempted to make a reservation using the email address given on Trip Advisor. Unfortunately there was not a reply and I got the... More
