Had the €25 menu today (Sunday) which included a selection of tapas, main course, dessert, coffee, bread, water and a bottle of house wine. The tapas included a salad with leaves past their sell by date, a croquette which had no distinct flavor and was slightly burnt. Our main course - veal - came in a bowl and had an... More

Speechless. Great menu of the day during lunch time, something around 16 euro, and we got a nice starter with a couple of tapas, fantastic fish (!!!!!!!) and a dessert. Wow. Great value for money, they know how to cook, and they serve you with a big smile. Really enjoyed the experience.

Read in a guide book that Mimolet had good things said about it so decided to give it a go while staying in Girona overnight. Arrived at just gone 9 (OK a little early for Spain) and mid week and the restaurant was empty (although some more people did arrive later). The menu is a fixed price (Amuse Bouche, bread,... More

Wandering in the Old Town looking for someplace to have dinner and discovered this restaurant. They do a 30€ menu which includes bread, water and coffee. After ordering found out that it also included a lovely selection of amuse bouchée. We had foie with apple glaze, tuna Carpacio, veal with foie and tuna burger, selection of postres which included superb... More

We have visited Mimolet before when we found it by accident. We returned because we enjoyed the last meal. This time the place was very busy with two large parties which gave a wonderful vibrant atmosphere. The menu this time was more limited however there was more than adequate choice. Despite the number of diners our food was well cooked... More

Mimolet was just a step from our hotel, it was drizzling, we popped in for lunch. A small, attractively modern place. Only eight of us lunching that day, and we were happy with the 15.90 euros set menu. Most memorable was my very large casserole of rice and sea creatures in a rich sauce. Chocolaty desserts, and a decent red... More

The service and food here was very good....with a delicious set menu for a measly 30 euros per person which included bread, water, cod & black pudding pizza, tempura, amuse bouche (x2), veal & foie gras with mash, a selection of deserts, and coffee.....service was exceptional, music & decor muted and tasteful lending itself to an intimate dining experience. A... More

I ate at Mimolet with my family for Christmas Eve lunch. We had been told great things about this restaurant from friends who lived in Girona for some time, so were eager to try it. Unfortunately we did not have a very good experience. Part of this might have been the day. Christmas Eve is a major holiday in Spain,... More

This is a perfect spot for a very good, satisfying meal among locals. I would say that Mimolet is a restaurant that you could return to any night of the week and expect good food and good service. We appreciated the service and the food. It was not expensive, great location and very attractive.

We had the menu degustacio at 45 euros each plus wine, which was several dishes served with sometimes too long of an interval. That said, it was good. Nice cosy place for a romantic night out.
