The kitchen and front of house staff were amazing, attentive, and I had the best time. Chef was so kind, humble and innovative. I'll definitely be back and can't wait to see what he does next!

I probably reviewed this great place. This is my 4th visit to the city and 3rd to the restaurant. Once they were closed. I highly recommend the testing menu with matching wines. Fresh ingredients of the season prepared creatively. Wines are choosen carefully from the region. Can see some bottles in the photos. Try to sit at the bar if... More

Had an amazing meal here - 8 tasting plates with accompanying wines. I've given it 5 stars for the food - the flavour and texture combos were superb. I think the wine section could have been a little more adventurous (for example a fino from Jerez would have been better with the strong cheese in the second course) but I... More

We had a bad experience. We took the degustation menu. It started really great. In this first course everything was well balanced. (We do not count the appetiser, which was not worth a restaurant.) After the first course it all went down. No balance, disappointing ingredients, no vegetables, using weird ingredients in Spain (mozzarella cubes, parmezaan, wagu beef, salmon,...). Service... More

Girona is for us a convenient stopping off point en route to Spain’s white coast and after a bit of research my husband suggested that this time we should give Nu a try. Happily we arrived just in time to be allowed to choose the tasting menu (they stop serving it at 3.30pm); it's not especially cheap at €55 but... More

My friend and I are visiting Girona for a long weekend and saw the excellent reviews on trip advisor so decided to book Nu for last night (27th June). I'm so pleased I booked as being a Saturday they were fully booked and were turning people away throughout the course of the evening. We were seated at the bar area... More

We went to Restaurant Nu in Girona to have an exiting dining experience and we certainly did. We were 4 people and knew already in advance that we wanted the Gourmet Tasting Menu consisting of 10 interesting and delicious courses. It was a study of many different inspirations from all over the world, deconstructed and reunited in a very original... More

We went for lunch with some friends, following the recommendation of some people. Our expectations before lunch were very high. However, reality was completely different and, sincerely speaking, we felt very disappointed. First courses were very weak! You can't serve one dish consisting of three slices of tomato with anchovies (and nothing else) for 16 euros! Not at this type... More
