Incredible food, great value

Had the 10 course degustation menu with accompanying wines for 70euros. Every dish was innovative and an amazing taste experience- mixture of flavours, textures, sweet, savoury. And the wines were varied and perfectly matched to each course. Highly recommend going before it gets too popular and... read more

We went for lunch with some friends, following the recommendation of some people. Our expectations before lunch were very high. However, reality was completely different and, sincerely speaking, we felt very disappointed. First courses were very weak! You can't serve one dish consisting of three slices of tomato with anchovies (and nothing else) for 16 euros! Not at this type... More

Great, nouvelle quisine restaurant. WE went twice whilst we were in Girona. make sure to sit at the bar so you can watch the chef - it's a little show on it's own. Food was very inventive - especially the starters which are prepared at the bar. Varied menu and it's worth having all three courses. Cost about €80 three... More

Having visited Massana we thought we would visit what we understood to be the sister restaurant here in Gerona. It is a different concept with more of an oriental focus. The restaurant has chefs working in view of the diners(well the ones facing them) the tables are situated along the length of the side of the restaurant. Once again there... More

Dined here for other half's birthday. We both had the gourmet menu. Every dish was a nice twist to the original. The sardines dish was fresh and worked so well with the pesto and apple. Capresse salad was olive brioche with jelly and Parmesan cheese. It was delicious & fun to eat. Foie gras worked wonders with the cold banana... More

When a restaurant is busy on a Monday night in Low season, you know that something must be good! Everything about Nu, just oozed class and professionalism, from the waiters, to the decor and most importantly...the food! My Girlfriend has a gluten intolerance and I mentioned it to the staff when I booked a few days earlier. They went to... More

We had a recommendation from a local, so thought we should try it! It opened at 8.15pm. We didn't have a booking but were first there and luckily there were two places left! Many people were turned away after us. The restaurant has an open kitchen area. Where we sat, at the bar (not a high bar, but table height,... More
