This restaurant was deeply disappointing, serving limp and lustreless dishes that were in edible for their lack of real flavour. Each offering that we sampled was worse than the last. The otherwise flavourless seafood paella was so packed with sodium it could only have been served directly from a can. Thoroughly an embarrassment to the rich cultural heritage, the Creme... More

All the others are bars, icecreambars pubs and kebab-shops serving hot food in the high. Even simple dishes are well presented and taste good, even quite cheap!

There are plenty of restaurants in the Ramblas, Gerona, but this one I think is probably the best bet. You get hustled in as you walk by, but not over-aggressively and with multilingual wit! There's often a range of menus to celebrate one of the endless procession of festivals in the city. We got the flower one. The value is... More

I can understand why this place gets varied reviews, we had a mixed experience. It's well positioned in the main pedestrian area, and the waiters were friendly and attentive - but only when they remembered. They were distracted at times, and could neglect customers without realising. A bit more attention to detail required. The food was pretty good for the... More

My daughter and I ate here and, although it looks like it's going to be a bit touristy and not so good, it was actually really good - great pesto linguini and pizza here. The service was a little grumpy but I've found that tends to be the case in Catalunya - still a beautiful place to visit in spite... More

Situated in a pedestrian area with shaded tables. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quite a large range of dishes to choose from. Food was just average, Do carefully check your bill. We had been charged for our main courses plus 2 additional courses plus an additional bottle of water. We pointed this out and they examined our table and eventually... More

You will be spoiled for choice at the Arcades as there is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. Most have a set menu for around 15 euros, which is 3 courses and most serve tapas.

This restaurant is situated in a pedestrian precinct in the centre of the old town of Girona. It is an attractive spot to sit outside under the trees. There is a range of inexpensive dishes to choose from and service is very efficient. Good place to break for lunch while looking round the town.

We ate here twice recently, with just over a week's gap between our two visits, and the two experiences certainly differed. On both occasions service was friendly, not overly so, but friendly enough. On the first visit we found the food to be good, and good value also. On our second visit, which incidentally was during the Girona Festival of... More
