i only had the tuna tataky and the beef tartar, but i thought both dishes excellent. i never would have expected getting tuna like this with a very japanese influence, hbut it really was quite tasty. the beef tartar was also nicely presented with 3 separate dollups of individual sauces in the corners. when looking at the menu, it does... Outstanding lunch in a quiet part of the old city. Classic Catalan with a light modern touch. Nice menu variety. Small wine list. Overall a real find in the heart of Girona.

Occi has some otuside seating know. The rice with mushrooms and Parmesan is great, service is friendly and correct, good wines. Can choose from a daily menu or a la carte. Good fish and meats and Catalan creative food at its best. Good desserts. Had fresh grilled vegetables, the best.

Another visit to this little treasure just off the Rambla on Mercaders. Always wonderful! The amuse bouche was co with black rice- a Catalan specialty- delicious! Next I enjoyed the wild mushroom risotto with shaved Parmesan- perfection! The main was a duck breast with wild mushrooms, and candied fruits- yum! Dessert was the coulant de chocolat- eaten in slow motion... More

Amazing menu del dia, have been going here for the last four years and haven't eaten the same thing twice. If it's outstanding food you are after, this is the place to go. The owner, who is the chef, has an amazing talent and your visit to Girona would be incomplete if you haven't stopped by OCCI. On request, (at... More

We had a nice lunch at Occi and thought it was one of the better restaurants we tried in Girona (Llevataps still beats it though). The menu is fairly limited, but the dishes they do offer are good and for lunch they offer a set 3 course menu for 18 euros per person. However, do note that if you go... More

This is a small friendly restaurant with really well presented food, well cooked and delicious. We found the menu had plenty to offer and the wine list offered something for most tastes and pockets. Waiting staff are friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere is inviting with charm. Highly recommend.

Visited on-spec this evening. No problem getting a table. Menu didnt excite - especially starters...nothing caught our eye so we opted to go straight to the main courses. My wife had lamb shoulder and I had the veal. Both were served without additional vegetables - the lamb was very fatty and lacked flavour but the veal with fois gras was... More

We've eaten 3-4 times at Occi and have always had an excellent experience. The service is attentive and always takes care of my gluten-free requirements. The food is quite attractive, creative (asparagus and langostino wrapped in bacon; a big "meatball" stuffed with melting blue cheese and topped with caramelized onions), and tasty. Servings are just the right quantity. And the... More
