Excellent 7 tapas and 2 puddings deal

Really lovely tapas, clearly where locals eat and lots of them seemed to be having this good deal - 30 euros each for 7 tapas and 2 puddings (each). Staff were lovely, good ambience, kooky little restaurant with great wine selection and a perfect evening. This should definitely be higher up the... read more

I come to Barcelona only once a year, but this is nearby, and it has never failed me. Last year, they did a tribute to Katz's pastrami, in my neighborhood on the Lower East Side, NYC. This year it was the gourmet hamburger, in New York or London style. They offered an Asian tapa. It came in a white cardboard... More

Everything went wrong at Cata 1.81. As a restaurant owner, I did my research and was quite excited to take our party of 3 here on a Saturday night. I made a reservation for 3 and it was confirmed via email. It was for 23:00. We showed up and they had no record of the reservation. We decided to wait... More

When you enter a restaurant and are surrounded by locals that, to me, is good sign you are going to get great Spanish food.....this did not disappoint. Made a last minute reservation to try the seven course tasting with pairing of wine and was fun and tasty.

The wines were local, harmonised well with the food and really wore excellent. The waitress was very attentive, always bringing new wines and tapas at the right time (but... More

Was lucky enough to be introduced to this place by a local, I doubt you would find it by chance. Fantastically interesting range of food, great wine and really good service. I'll be back!

Went with our family and three kids. Really nice to share some tapas with flavors off the normal track. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

This is primarily a wine bar, but they serve gourmet tapas as well. First impression is, that the designer of the interior of the restaurant must have had a really good time, as some of the lamps are wine bottles with feathers in birdcages and they use half-empty wine glasses as decoration on the wall. The interior is at the... More
