Perfect for hungry man on a budget

The portion of meat are huge, the price is ridiculously low. We use to go eat here with my co-workers. We never finish the plats. I eat supper with the left over that I take away. One day, a co-worker finish the main course (half a chicken). The owner spontaneously brought an other one saying... read more

Me and my wife visited there and we took different meats and sausages for two. The portion was very large and we could not eat all. The taste was also very good. If you are very hungry, this is the right place. I love the place specially by the huge portions. I realize that it is not so important for... More

I go to this restaurant everytime I visit Barcelona which is at least twice a year. The food is superb, cannot tell you enough how good the steak is ( better than sex at times ). The service is great and the staff are welcoming and very hospitable, also very patient with my bad attempts at ordering in Spanish. Nice... More

Ate here a couple of days ago, found it by chance. A non descript entrance, long corridor leads to a big dining room at the back. Ours was a group of 6 guys we ordered the barbecue meat platter for 4 and a couple of steaks. Massive portions fantastic meat! House wine was fine, service from one waiter was abysmal,... More

We show up there with friends, teens and kids for diner. At 21:00 the restaurant was empty (and only few tables were occupied when we left at late 23:00) It seems that it is much more a restaurant for lunch and not for diner. We ordered with my wife a mix Brochette (Pork, beef and Chicken) with potatoes. We get... More

We like it! Visit La Rueda Eastern afternoon 2014. "We from Sweden" some problems with the first bottle of wine! The second one was better.

The people next to us got amazing cuts of meat. We did not. What a disappointment. Was it by chance or because we were Americans?

Just been here for a team dinner (20 of us), when we finally found it that is. We went for the set menu, to stop the hours of chatting to discuss what to do, who to share with etc. The food was lovely, even if in some stages a little random (ie third course was sausage and chips), but it... More

Had the €9.55 menu del dia on a Tuesday. House wine was not the best and the starter was OK but the star of the show was the main. Huge piece of beef, well cooked to medium rare with some lovely caramelisation on the outside. This was worth the whole price and then some - recommend! The place itself is... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
