Excellent value

We stopped for a coffee and small beer before visiting the cathedral, the cost of which was €3.40 in total which is a bargain compared to most places never mind one in a tourist trap. Good that a large beer and therefore large price was not delivered just because I am foreign! The bar was well... read more

Probably the best place in Barcelona for tapas - seems touristy at the first glance, but who cares - most importantly, service efficient and friendly, great selection of freshly prepared tapas, excellent location.

Great restaurant, always full, very nice to sit outside on the cathedral view. The food is great a lot of different kinds of tapas, and desserts, we ate all kinds of dishes, meat and seafood and more and everything was great. Try their sangria or red wine.

Ceci and I stumbled across this place after Mass one Sunday in February, 2015. The tapas served with skewers is an awesome idea. You pay by the number of empty sticks you are left with. The wine was delicious and the tapas were magnificent! We went back a few days later!

Stumbled across this place on our first day when we were getting our bearings. A really good selection of cold tapas on the bar at really reasonable prices coupled with really good wine and beer, an unexpectedly good experience given that this place is so close to the main tourist attractions. Really helpful staff given that this was our first... More

This place is the perfect self service restaurant! Stroll in, pick your seat. Wander up to the bar that's covered in dishes with Pinchos (or Pinxtos) i.e. something with a stick in it. Pick a few, head back to the table and have a munch and a drink. Fantastic variety, conveniently located and VERY good value at €1.70 a stick.... More

Most restaurants do not open for dinner until 8 p.m if you're hungry at 5 pm, this is the place. The tapas are lined up on a serving counter, you heap a plate and pick the ones that look good. There is a stick in each tapas, and the number of sticks times 1.7 euros is your tab. Hot and cold... More

This place serves bite-sized open sandwiches with a stick through it. There are many variety to choose from, including desserts. Very tasty and a good way to go if you are not a big eater like my 6'1" son. They charge 1.70 Euro per stick. By the time he was done we had 13 sticks on the table of which... More
