Nice small restaurant

I liked sitting outside at the Plaza del Sol. It is a really nice atmosphere for chilling and drinking a beer. From all the dishes we ate I liked the tomato/basil quiche the most. Very busy restaurant, already now in february, all tables inside and outside were occupied. If you want to get the... read more

Walking around all day long to the majestic monuments of Barcelona, at night we were looking for something un-touristic. Our hotel recommended Placa del Sol which was very close by. When we sat at Sol Soler we immediatelly felt like part of their everyday life. Most of the people there were Catalans eating tapas and driking beers! The atmosphere was... More

The restaurant is more than fine, it's one of those type that are more focused to locals than to touristic visitors, and its price range is competetive compared to other restaurants in Barcelona. I tried it due to it's proximity from where I was living, and I only asked for a greek salad and the cheese Kitchn, so if you... More

The restaurant is a nice little on in Placa del sol a popular little square with seating inside and out. The menu is typical traditional Spanish tapas but is very good and tastes great. Unfortunately the restaurant is let down by very slow and lazy service....so make sure you aren't too hungry when you get there!

Delicious tapas and so reasonably priced. The menu is relatively short but everything is good and the selection differs from the run of the mill tapas you will find in every other restaurant. It is in the heart of Gracia, situated in a small square full of ambience. The restaurant is small and after 9 it is sure to be... More

So popular it's a bit of a wait but worth it! Great vegetarian and other tapas, very homemade feel and incredibly friendly folks. Night we were there, menu included eggplant lasagna, spinach quiche, as well as traditional tapas like potatoes brava.

It is a quite modest bar with a simple but very tasty food at reasonably prices. This place became quite popular among locals therefore it can be quite crowded inside. In January it was too cold to sit outside but we were lucky to get a small table inside. We had fine wine, cold beer and some tapas. We were... More

This was suggested by someone we met who grew up in the Gracia Neighborhood as the local place she had been going to for years. It was a great experience. Younger, happy, lively crowd. Friendly efficient service. Funky place with indoor and outdoor seating. And the best part is very good tapas at a very reasonable price. Exceptionally good selection... More

Great to find a place like this. It's hidden away so it would be almost impossible to find. Try it if you can. We had 7 dishes and 4 drinks and paid €44. Would highly recommend this place. All the food was fantastic apart from the tomato bread which didn't fit the quality of the rest of the food. Go... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
