Good quality

We were told they had one of the best paella in barcelona. It was a Good family restaurant. Decor old rustic. Doors open at 8 pm not one minute sooner. Food definitely fresh. Went with a few friends to Barcelona for a few days... wanted to try some authentic paella, and found this hole in the wall. Easily some of the best food I have had in my life. We ordered 2 paella to split between 4 of us (could have probably split 1, but the more the better). Cavas was average. Giant... More

This is an old family run restaurant, mostly vidited by the locals. Situated not in a touristic neighberhood, but its in a godd neighberhood easy accessible by taxi. Though its not a fancy restaurant with a great view but the quality of food is excellent, the fish is fresh and the paella is tasty. Its not a cheap restaurant, averange... More

lovely little restaurant in Barceloneta, where you will feel well attended by waiters and eat a good rice. I went there several times and always make a taste of "tapas" before the paella, no matter which one, it'll be very good. highly recommended.

If you are looking for a touristic paella (with meat and fish and seafood) this is not the good spot...but if you look for the freshest seafood and fish and an exquisite rice taste, then this will be your first choice! The waiter was also very nice even though some people nmight get puzzled by his sense of humor =)

This place is tucked down a street in Barceloneta and is well known for their seafood, which you can tell by all of their decor. It's a really charming interior that is not at all pretentious. The service was very good and the food was fantastic as well. We had paella with lobster and clams which tasted fresh and just... More

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant very much. The service was very good. Unfortunately the Paella was I our opinion same as previous viewers, a risotto and a bit salty. It was not what we were expecting. The seafood was just alright. The salad was very fresh and we all enjoyed it.

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighborhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
