We regret that we didn't check the Tripadvisor before we entred this restaurant. They had a lunchmenu offer. 9,50 € . 2 course meal with beverages that we wanted to try. This was the worst food we have eaten in Barcelona ever. The food tasted awful! So stay away from this restaurant.

So you know that open sewer smell you get in some cities? That's what greets you when you enter this place. It's fetid, foul and how it can be deemed hygienic is beyond me. For fear of offending my gracious host I stayed quiet. I was part of a large group and although the restaurant was quiet, we made up... More

A great menu for a great price. A small intimate restaurant that offers great food on its set menu for a great price. They also give you loads of wine. The fun will be finding it twice.

That's a typical restaurant made just to catch the tourist, so he will pay a lot for nothing to eat. 12 euro for "Paella", which means a lot of Rice, and 2 little shrimps. Calamares were ok, and the service as well, but still, there are MUCH better places to eat in Barcelona for the same price.

Worst restaurant we ever had been. The unhygienic toilet was already mentioned many times before. One should have a look in Tripadvisor before selecting a restaurant! Next time we will do it better!

The first flaw to note is the toilet: the sink is extremely dirty. After eating a great paella for lunch, we wanted to taste tapas. What a terrible mistake choosing to go there! The waiting was really long and the first plate to be served was a "tapa de queso manchego". It can be summarized in few slices of cheese... More

A tucked away place we found it by chance and wished we had found it earlier in our stay. The food was the best we had in Barcelona and very reasonable with a three course set menu for 21 Euros each, which given it's central location was excellent. Track it down and give it a try.

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
