Great for Coffee

We stayed at the Olivia Plaza hotel right at the center of Placa De Catalunya. Nuria is just around the corner from the Olivia, and a nice alternative to eating at the hotel. Price are very affordable! Nuria offers up an assortment of pastries and very good coffee (or cappuccino). Nice... read more

A very good culinary experience, if you want to try some authentic "casolana" food go to Nuria* (Casolana in catalan means homemade food), located in a hotspot of Barcelona!

The bravas are just short fries, the spicy chicken was just reheated and the shrimps were lacking flavour. My friend's veal entrecôte was very well done although she asked for medium rare. After it was returned to the kitchen she got a new one that wasn't even warm in the middle. Our waiter was polite and apologized. The sangria is... More

Situated next to Catalunya Plaza, this restaurant offers a beautiful and silent view over the Ramblas (we arte seated inside at the second floor, but there are also just a few tables outside). We've just finished a tempura of squids (light but tasty), 3 seafood paiella (excellent!!!! Both in quality and quantity) and 2 Catalunya cream (good!). The sangria (1... More

While shopping around near La rambla we went here for a quick bite. The staff weren't very friendly. I asked for my veal to be medium but it was well done and chewy so that wasn't so good but it's very affordable and my friend enjoyed their pizza

Restaurante Nuria is located at the north end of Las Ramblas, in the corner of Placa Catalunya. It's clean, good service and has more than a basic selection of dishes. Food came out quick and was well made. Prices among the best for cooked food (not fast food) we found in Barcelona. They have a good selection of breakfast options... More

The paella was extremely salty. Management blamed individual perception of what is salty to account for our opinion. It was SALTY, VERY SALTY. We decided to give the Nuria a chance and went for lunch the next day. The shrimps (gambas) were not properly cleaned. They left the poop within it and served it uncleaned (see picture).
