Delicious Catalan food!

We loved the authentic Catalan dishes prepared by this excellent restaurant at the Vall de Nuria - in the Pyrenees - 80 miles or so from Barcelona!

Our party of 5 was looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat with our private tour guide in Barcelona. She recommended Restaurante Nuria and one other place close by. Glad we chose Restaurante Nuria. The service was friendly and efficient. I had the grilled shrimp and spicy potatoes and they were both delicious. Everybody was happy... More

I stumbled upon this restaurant and I'm so happy that I did! I ended up coming twice because I was that satisfied. This restaurant had such good food and service. The staff was always attentive and kind. The food was also brought out in a timely manner. If you are a seafood fan I would recommend the Fisherman pasta I... More

I was staying near the Ramblas area and I was lucky enough to stumble across this place on a Sunday morning. I was happy to see it was open at 8:30am! I had a nice, fairly quick "American" breakfast with fried eggs, ham, French fries and a café con leche (and a coke...I need a hot and cold caffeine fix... More

We came to this restaurant for lunch. The location is very strategic. It is at the end of the La Rambla/in front of the Pl. Catalunya metro station. It's a big restaurant with a very nice interior. They serve variation of Spanish food. We ordered several tapas such as spicy potatoes, crispy artichoke chips, cod fritters, fried baby squid &... More

The place is beautiful and well located, the staff is fine. But the food is bellow my expectations. Croquetas were just ok, and the burger was terribly poor executed. At the end the waiter ignored the cents in my check and kept 50 cents to himself. No need to say I left no tip at all. My first and last... More

I went there with a friend, while we were eating i got my things stolen, (my professional camara etc) inside the restaurant, i talked to the waiters and they told me they had to wait until the next day to call the owner and let him know, i asked to see the surveilance cameras recordings but they told me they... Restaurant was well kept, great ambiance but the food was below average . We ordered tapas and their home made paella. I don't think I will dine in again

At the top of Barcelona’s famed Las Ramble sits Nutria, a restaurant so friendly that we ate there twice in the space of two days. For us, the combination of location, cold oversized tankards of beer, and smooth gazpacho proved irresistible.
