Fantastic

Great tasty food in a fantastic spot. Would be my local hang out if I lived there.. Stopped by for a very late breakfast. Girlfriend is vegetarian and there was enough options to choose from. Great relaxed cafe atmosphere

this restaurant was one of my best meals in Spain. Not traditional food but very very good quality, great presentation and sooooo tasty! Great value also. Fried green tomatoes starter is amazing. And had the steak which I wouldn't normally order in Europe but I didn't regret. Perfectly cooked, so tender and with the perfect accompaniments. We shared a bottle... More

Picnic was by far our favorite place in Barcelona. The first time we went was during the day, lunch was around 12 euros I think, super reasonable. I had the fried green tomatoes, eggs benedict, and a smoothie for dessert. I am from the deep south, and I never would have thought I'd be eating fried green tomatoes in Barcelona!... More

I went twice. . I love the whole place - great food, very friendly staff, good drinks, nice ambience, away from the crowds as it's along an unassuming alley. French toast is delicious - I ordered it both times! The pancakes are nice, the fried green tomatoes were just a little overdone for my liking.

Great food and great wine. Its a smaller place close to Park Ciudad. Very good wine list and every dish we has was excellent. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and the pulled pork tacos.

One of the many brunch restaurants that are getting fashionable on Barcena. FOod is not bad, but also nothing special. and portions are small for their price. In conclusion: overrated and overpriced

This is the best place in Barcelona to chill out and kill a hangover. Amazing homemade cocktails and by far the best breakfast in BCN.

We were so lucky to find this place for lunch! I hope when you visit they have the fried tomatoes! Everything including the environment and staff, rethinking our current dinner reservation and may come back for our last night in Barcelona!!!

I came here from a friends suggestion for some brunch. It's small and quirky with that homemade atmosphere all of which I love in a restaurant. The food was delicious and I really recommend the pink lemonade (so refreshing!!) We had a set lunch costing just 12 euros each which is amazing value for the food offered. As it's quite... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
