Unbelievable !!

We were so lucky to find this place for lunch! I hope when you visit they have the fried tomatoes! Everything including the environment and staff, rethinking our current dinner reservation and may come back for our last night in Barcelona!!!

I came here from a friends suggestion for some brunch. It's small and quirky with that homemade atmosphere all of which I love in a restaurant. The food was delicious and I really recommend the pink lemonade (so refreshing!!) We had a set lunch costing just 12 euros each which is amazing value for the food offered. As it's quite... More

4 of us enjoyed a wonderful tapas brunch here. The street level is very busy but they have a few tables in the basement that were quiet and service was perfect. Loved the pulled pork tacos, chili con carne, soft shell crab salad and of course pancakes. Good food, good service, good prices. Can't miss!

We were fortunate to have both lunch and supper at Picnic during the week we were in Barcelona, both meals were lovely. For lunch the set menu was perfect for me because there was an excellent non-meat dishes but for my husband lunch was limited and there was nothing he wanted to eat as a starter. It was a shame... There is nothing I dont like or I like average about Picnic, every dish or tapas they do they do it in a lovely way. Also the owner is such a great girl, always having a nice comment or detail for you. It is true that it gets pretty packed in the weekends but if you book in advance you... More

A wonderful evening was spent here last night with a group of young friends, we sat downstairs at a very large table in a private room, the service was really good with a really professional waiter. Our every needs were met... Great wine and really tasty Pork Tacos. All other dishes looked amazing and everyone was happy with what they... More

I attempted to go here and this review is just on my disappoint because I was never able to try the food. I am here with my husband at 2 in the afternoon on Sunday and was told there was an 1.5 wait ! It's a very small place and people where waiting to be seated. I saw two open... More

This resto was amazing. Service was super friendly, and considering how many people were lined up and waiting, they were very organized. We were 3 and shared: the huevos rancheros (i think), the benedict w bacon, the soft shell crab salad and the pancakes. Every plate was amazing. Totally worth it, and the space is also really nice.

We went as a group of hungover girls on a hen do. The staff really looked after us, even managing to rustle up some balloons to put by our table! And they were happy to let us where silly headwear and play games. The food was really delicious, and the drinks were good too. Our waiter was very attentive, and... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
