One of the best brunch in Barcelona

There is nothing I dont like or I like average about Picnic, every dish or tapas they do they do it in a lovely way. Also the owner is such a great girl, always having a nice comment or detail for you. It is true that it gets pretty packed in the weekends but if you book in advance you... read more

A wonderful evening was spent here last night with a group of young friends, we sat downstairs at a very large table in a private room, the service was really good with a really professional waiter. Our every needs were met... Great wine and really tasty Pork Tacos. All other dishes looked amazing and everyone was happy with what they... More

I attempted to go here and this review is just on my disappoint because I was never able to try the food. I am here with my husband at 2 in the afternoon on Sunday and was told there was an 1.5 wait ! It's a very small place and people where waiting to be seated. I saw two open... More

This resto was amazing. Service was super friendly, and considering how many people were lined up and waiting, they were very organized. We were 3 and shared: the huevos rancheros (i think), the benedict w bacon, the soft shell crab salad and the pancakes. Every plate was amazing. Totally worth it, and the space is also really nice.

We went as a group of hungover girls on a hen do. The staff really looked after us, even managing to rustle up some balloons to put by our table! And they were happy to let us where silly headwear and play games. The food was really delicious, and the drinks were good too. Our waiter was very attentive, and... More

Had banana pancakes with candied walnuts in a peanut butter sauce along with a mean beef chili. Would definitely come again for brunch. This is definitely in the "American" style of brunch/modern cuisine.

With a bit of a hangover my boyfriend and I booked a place for brunch to cure them (reservation is vital!) Sunday morning and very busy but a lovely atmosphere with families, friends and couples. The staff rush around like crazy to get everyone served as quick as possible. They took requests for brunch too (for example added poached eggs)... More

It's always hard to choose a dinner location on the first night arriving in an unfamiliar city. We were so glad to find this spot! It was late and we weren't too hungry; there is something for everyone on the menu (even vegetarian). I enjoyed the quinoa hash browns and flat bread with raclette cheese and rocquette. The restaurant has... More

Had an early dinner at Picnic, minimalist decor, food was quite good, pulled pork tortillas, great fries with a lovely dipping sauce. All in all a great experience, will try to go again before we leave

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
