Picnic was a definitely nice discovery! I am always on the look for new places in Barcelona, and some friends suggested this one where they had a great brunch. I was there for dinner and I was really pleased. The place is nicely decorated and cozy. It is laid back but refined. We had a nice bottle of wine (they... More

Our brunch at Picnic was the best meal we had in Barcelona. The extensive menu was perfect for those of us who enjoy a big meal early in the day, and the service was efficient and gracious. We met Jaime, the owner, and he made us feel extremely welcome. The delightful spot has indoor and outdoor seating, a little away... More

The place is really nice, we were lucky to get a place ehen we arrived since all other tables were booked. The food was very good althogh in tiny portions abd the staff was very friendly. The coffee though was very bad, it was my biggest disappointment, it was clearly a comercial robusta. They could have whole wheat bread too,... More

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. It gets quite busy so you might have to wait. We had some really good eggs benedict & pancakes (must have). The service was extremely fast. We didn't wait for more than 10 minutes for our food to arrive, even though the place was packed. Go for it.

I went to this restaurant twice (including the last night of my holiday) because it was so amazing. I recommend that you book because it can get busy - we booked for 8pm the first time though forgetting that this is very early for Barcelona. We made our own fun though :-). The second time we went we booked it... More

We had read some great reviews and dropped into Picnic. It was sunny and May Day, and Picnic was vey busy. It didn't take long to get a table, and we ordered a mix of delicious, unusual dishes. Very tasty, good value, nice location and excellent service. Definitely worth a visit. .

This place is always packed and there's a simple explanation - the food is great (especially the eggs benedict and fried green tomatoes) and the Bloody Marys are fabulous. Without question the best spot for brunch in Barcelona (which is why you may want to book as it can be quite tricky to get a table - especially at weekends).

I recently had brunch at Picnic with my husband and 15 month old daughter. We showed up without a reservation on a Sunday morning but were seated right away. I was extremely satisfied with the service (they were very accomodating to our little one- bringing her crayons and paper and delivering her food first) as well as with the food.... More

Picnic is a good spot to go to if you are looking for an American-style brunch. It is the only place to find decent french toast and the fried green tomatoes are awesome. You have to make reservations, and don't order the coffee. It is always cold and not very strong. But the rest is fabulous. A little pricey...but it... More

There isn't a single local authentic dish on the menu of Picnic, but that's okay, because people go there for brunch and their expat/tourist/foreigner menu. Everything I've had has been quite tasty and I would recommend it on that alone. The problem is the prices. They've had a few favorable reviews since opening and the prices have steadily crept upwards... More
