Big platefuls

Tasty if rustic food in enormous servings, if you haven't got a large appetite you might want to share. Bread with tomato puree, mixed salad and patatas bravas as entrees, grilled pork and chicken as mains, washed down with a very decent house red and all for €43. The waitress had very little... read more

Highly recommend, I was welcomed by a warm bubbly atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was melt in your mouth delicious ! A good variety of red meat ,chicken and fish dishes all reasonably priced. I like to look for places where local people eat and drink, I found it 😊

From the outside this looks like a very ordinary tapas bar but its an excellent Galician styled restaurant. We had padron peppers and some truly fabulous octopus. Make sure you have a healthy appetite

It had all that I was looking for that night, -gastronomicly- speaking. A real galician place to eat. Small but cozy, with an outstanding customer service. I felt like I was been served by a big family (Father cutting the ham and cheese, daughters and brothers serving tables, mother giving orders). I what also like is the nostalgic of eating... More

We stayed close to this restaurant, and found it via online reviews. Thank god we tried it, ...twice. Visit number one included steamed mussels, prawns and a green salad. Visit two had to include the octopus, more prawns, some clams. The mussels, prawns and octopus are 5 star. The others were good, but not over the top like the others.... More

This was a visit that exceeded our expectations. The Galikcian restaurant is small and simply decorated, with a long bar and seating outside. We had booked for two o'clock but didn't get our table until half past. Still, it was worth the waiting. once we were seated, the service was fast and friendly. We had been warned that the portions... More

I live in the states, but I grew up in Barcelona. I fly back to Barcelona a couple times a year and this restaurant is always the first place I an excited to go back to. Great shellfish, great price. Period. Everything on the menu is cheap and high quality and very high quantity. Order anything, you even have pictures... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
