Looking for something a little different from the typical fare, Sesamo did not disappoint. We ordered the tasting menu, one order of lasagna (excellent!), and an additional dessert (worth it!). Everything was delicious and the chef was charming and attentive. He delivered many of the dishes himself, and was proud to share information about the food. Portions on the tasting... More

By far the best vegetarian meal we had on holiday, tasty meals and very good service. It was a difficult to find but well worth the effort.

We got soup, seven tapas plates, dessert, and two drinks for 25 euros. Each dish was delicious, and it was a very good value for the price. The service was relaxed and the staff were friendly. The restaurant is small but we did not feel at all crowded. The menu is all vegetarian, and all delicious. The owner, Alfredo, came... More

Yum!! The taster menu was especially good. It made a pleasant change from the usual pizza/pasta "choice" you usually get for vegetarian cuisine.

We have been travelling for a while now and have become used to waiters putting food on out table that we haven't ordered only to later find it on the bill. Well not here the very good little chilli were in fact free. We were just in for a snack and had the rice balls and curry. Both were tasty... More

RECOMMENDED: This is a small dishes restaurant, it's not really tapas in the Barcelona sense, but just that small vegetarian dishes. The location is on a small side street away from the bustle and TripAdvisor is likely powering this place with the numerous English speakers present. The chef, a young guy, is out and about amongst the tables and seemed... More

After looking around the web and on tripadvisor for a vegetarian tapas restaurant in Barcelona, Sesamo was at the top of our list. After a lovely day sight seeing we decided to round our day off by taking a stroll down a cozy side street to enjoy the wonderful food on offer. Walking into the restaurant we where warmly welcomed... More

We visited for Valentines night as my husband is a vegetarian and thought it would be a nice treat. We opted for the tasting menu, although we felt it was a little overpriced. We had 2 shots of soup each which were tasty and unusual. These were followed by a mushroom ball each, some Catalan tomato bread with a cheese... More

Sesamo is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Barcelona just because the staff was so accomodating with vegan options. They gave us a free appetizer of a delicious sweet potato, macadamia nut, and coconut milk puree. For dinner I had the pad thai and it was absolutely amazing! I will definitely go back and try the 8 course menu... More

Went for the tasting menu and found it annoying to have only small portions of food you liked and too much of the food we didn't like. Some of the dishes (gnocchi) were lovely though, but the mushroom and carrot curry left a lot to be desired. We thought the waiter was supposed to be friendly but he was having... More
