Was in our list to things for do in Barcelona, the only thing we regret is not coming sooner! Left it for our last night, went for the tasting menu plus a portion of the organic figs from the specials board a bit too much food for us but all worth trying and sampling. Great gnocchis and Indian curry. Alfredo,... More

This place is a bit different as a vegetarian tapas restaurant. We were very pleased with every bit of our meal. We went for the al la carte rather than the tasting menu and our meal came to €58 including pudding, water and two alcoholic drinks. You do get lots more food than the tasting menu. I was pleased you... More

As a non vegetarian and specially for my parents, this place is just amazing! I've heard about it a few times here and there but to be honest was a bit reluctant to spend money and time in a veggie place! Anyhow went there over a week ago, met the Argentine owner and chef Alfredo who brought a few dishes... More

Decided to go here based on reviews we had read and here we are raving about the food two weeks later. This place is fantastic! Don't be misled by it's offbeat location and low key appearance, the food will blow you away. We had drinks, tapas, mains and desserts and each course was outstanding. We had some unique dishes which... More

As a vegetarian, eating in Spain can be a bit tricky. My carnivorous boyfriend has no problem, but I have found myself living on (albeit delicious) cheese, patatas bravas, and tomato bread. My (also veggie) brother recommended this place, and we asked our hotel to book us a table for the same evening -- confusing the woman behind the desk... More

Great selection of vegetarian tapas! It was nice to find this restaurant, as all other restaurant tapas include meat in one form or another. Loved the beet root gnocchi and the arancini :) Highly recommend this restaurant. Make reservations, as the restaurant is quite small.

We came to Sesamo a little after 7 pm and were the first people there. After reading reviews about tasting menus we decided to order it. Everything was so delicious and my kids (who don't eat mushrooms and hate eggplant) were in love with food, even dishes made mainly of those ingredients!!!! And you will be full at the end... More

We came to Barcelona as a group of four vegetarians, so we'd made an effort to find out about good vegetarian-only places beforehand, and Sesamo was a name that kept cropping up. On the last night of the trip we finally made it here (note that it's only open on an evening - don't do what we did at first... More

I love this place. It's not in the best part of Barcelona and, as others have said, it comes across as a hole in the wall or an old fashioned traditional British veggie restaurant, but it's tasting menu belies the environment and was great and they were able to accommodate my daughter who has a nut allergy easily. Ignore the... More

Sesamo is kind of a hole in the wall but we enjoyed it quite a lot starting with the wonderful vegetarian food but carrying through the service and conversation with the chef who is Argentinian and not a vegetarian himself. The menu includes a lot of gins & tonics which turn out to go especially well with Indian options. We... More
