Absolutely shocking place to eat. Poor service, food very average, poorly presented. Heaters like a furnace in your face whilst eating. It may only be March but compared to UK mild!! Also, if you were from Catalonia, preferential treatment!!

We went for a dinner. It was already full. We managed to get a table after a wait of 15 min. Seemed reasonable. The guy caled Paravinder was assigned to our table We ordered two of the paella & a single beer. Since my wife does not consume alcohol or soda. We were planning to have few other things after... We tried alot of difference drinks all over town, and we had the best Mojitos at this place. They where very tasty, large and cheap. We got ½L for 6euro all day. I think they made 12 different types of Mojitos. We only the classic and the Loco Coco.

Ate here twice during our stay in BCN First time there were 3 of us & we had tapas & paella. Food was good, service was OK, although the waiter was a little grumpy, so not a problem. Next night we had met up with our friends so all 10 of us went there & we got the same waiter... More

Nice location in square just off La Ramblas. Bright sunny day sitting outside, service good, tapas average but good value.

Don't even want to spend much time on writing a review for this restaurant! The good: - Outside seating/heating - Atleast the beer tasted normal. The bad: - Waiters were unfriendly and looked annoyed once you asked them something - Tables/chairs outside were to close to each other causing the waiters to constantly bump into our chairs - The food... This is in a lovely location, a quiet square that wasn't too busy. However, that's the only good thing going for it. We got seated then had to wait 10 minutes before we were finally showed all menus and orders taken. It really says a lot about customer service when a member of staff is more interested in having her... More

We were staying around the corner, in a hotel on the Ramblas, and were desparate for a good early-morning coffee. As we walked towards this restaurant it was as if they had read our minds, and jumped to serve us. Although early in the morning, they insisted on putting a tablecloth on our table, and even put on the gas... More

We had a lovely meal and made all the better by our waiter Mario who we had a giggle with as our daughter ordered "sex on the beach" cocktail. Not far from La Rambla, in a quiet square. Highly recommend.

Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences.
