Poor poor food

We chose this restaurant on the evening because of the location and a table on the front line was available. Not always the best reason to make a choice. The atmosphere in the Placa was interesting. Busy. Entertaining. Beggars. Street venders selling roses, children's toys and bird tweeters. We... read more

Amazing sangrias. We went quite a few times during the day for just sangrias and a bit of rating after a long day of walking around Barcelona.

Rude staff from the start. Poor ambience, staff shouting at one another. Average food. Long waits for service. Tourist trap. Would not recommend.

Nice place to watch the world go by. Sat here for three hours and drank lots and had food. Felt pressure to pay bill when we hadn't asked for it. I think the waiter was finishing his shift and wanted a tip. We paid up and moved to another bar. Lasagna was really good here too.

Very disappointing meal. Paella with very little in it and overcooked rice. Meal was plagued with street sellers and beggars The staff seemed more interested in trying to get new diners in rather than attending to their existing diners. Expensive and the only time the waiter was attentive was when he seemed desperate for us to pay Great location but... More

Ate here as a family, what can we say but shockingly bad food with stroppy waiter service. Clearly pre prepared food reheated upon order. Couldn't wait to get Bill and upon doing so was asked if we were going to add a tip!!! Avoid if you can!

We were enticed to sit down and said we'd only be having drinks...all was ok. After 5 mins 3 waiters argued in front of us with no respect to us sitting there. Before we were told that the table would only be available for those eating. Terrible experience, made to feel completely belittled by the staff.

There were a few poor reviews for this place but we thought we would try it out. It was absolutely fine. I had goat chops and the wife had a mixed paella. Both were very tasty and the wine was good too. Decent price as well lesson than €50 for all we had.

Probably not the fanciest paella but fit the bill to eat outside. Service was fine. Sangria tasty. Nice casual evening for first night in town.
