Ginger, in the heart of the Gothic quarter. Has two entrances: one leads into a cocktail bar and the other, a wine-tasting bar. We also offer deliicious home-made tapas and weekly specials using the very best and freshest ingredients. Low-lighting, good music (including vinyl record nights) and a retro, mellow interior makes Ginger a bar with many possibilities: where you can choose just to sit and enjoy a cocktail, a beer, a gin and tonic, a glass of wine or sample our cooking, rated by our visitors as the best in town......

Great cocktails

Another great bar in the back streets away from tourists. Big cocktail list that taste great. Bit like a 1970's bar with old soul playing, had a great time.

I found this place by googling "the best tapas in the Gothic district" and I was not disappointed! I had a cod fish spread with toast and its one of the best things I´ve had while in barcelona. I had a nice glass of Garnacha to go with it. On a side note they do have a great wine by... More

This is a great little bar in the heart of the gothic district. Quirky 20s decor and fab cocktails with attentive service make it a must if you're in the area.

Ginger is one of those places that you wished you could take back home with you to the States. We stumbled upon it whilst wrapping up dinner with some new friends. It was around 11pm when we entered, and the place was at max capacity. However, the staff hustled to move some tables and chairs around to accommodate us. So... More

This being our 3rd visit to the Ginger bar, amazing tapas, great service and cocktails that carry a punch. Decor is very 70's chic,a was array of music played. If not ask for it,they will oblige. The bar iz tucked away in the Gothic quarter in a small little square.Quite easy to find.Definetley worth a try.

This was my second visit and it was great. Tucked away just away from the Juame I area and Carrer Princesa it is such a gem and you would miss it if you just walked past. Low lighting gives a great mood and comfortable seating areas which makes it a fun and friendly atmosphere. I had a manhattan and the... More

We stumbled across Ginger on our second night and had wonderful Tapas and Cava here. Our host was generous with his recommendations and the food and wine excellent. We plan to return to Barcelona someday and Ginger will definitely be on our list to return to

Very cosy place for a drink and some tapas, located in a very central part of Barcelona. I definitely liked the Ginger Pimm's cocktail

Nothing to complain or exceptionally note; a very decent bar in the Gothic quarter with a nice upstairs, lively music and some solid eats.
