Pretty easy to find if you know where to look, even though it is tucked away off the street. You walk into a larger beer hallish place with long wood tables and high ceilings. It has this great vibe with everyone there obviously enjoying themselves, whether it be playing pool or having pitchers of sangria. We ordered too much food... More

After a bit if a struggle to find the place, me and my friends had a great night celebrating my 21st. Not to far from La Rambla, the main stretch with lots of bars and restaurants, a decent selection of drinks, with San Miguel coming in what I can only describe as a bucket on stilts with taps. Would recommend... More

- This is a german style pub where you can go and have a relatively cheap drink. - It is full of students and young people so have that in mind. - It is a descent place if you want to get started there but generally speaking - it's a relaxed atmosphere - It does worth a try and it... More

A great spot to have a few (to many) drinks in Barcelona. Really good atmosphere and a place to meet other travellers and locals. I did see the security get a wee but rough with some louder patrons who were only having fun but other than that a brilliant place.

This is the worst pub i've ever tried to get in in my whole life. The "bodyguard" at the entrance was so unpolite and arrogant.

If you want cheap beer or sangria a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of Las Ramblas then go here immediately! A great old place with a relaxed vibe, suitable for pre-partying drinks or drop anchor and stay here for a few too many and save your euros from the many tourist traps willing to empty your pockets nearby.... I was there some days ago with my friends (we were 6 girls) and the staff at the door even don't let us enter in, for a senseless reason: we were walking and looking for a pub to drink and one of my friends was smoking. The man at the door stopped her and asked to move to the right... More

This place has it all, cheap beer, nice staff, strong sangria, and surprisingly good food! You can buy 5 liters of beer for 25 euro, and it comes in a big jug with a tap. We split one with some other Americans that we managed to find. We visited the bar 3 times on our trip to Barcelona. The first... More

Ran into this bar/restaurant by accident and was impressed by the quality of tapas, sangrias, price and the locals that dominated the crowd surrounding us. If your looking to experience a genuine bar in Barcelona with great food and prices this is the place.

Staying in Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica

Neighborhood Profile
Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica
The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina. A grand bronze fish statue soaring high above serves as a beacon to those searching for the renowned Casino Barcelona or the extremely popular nightclubs which practically lie on the beach itself.
