Very Good

We ate here twice during our Xmas break this year. The first visit was "fantastic". We both had pasta dishes, and they were sublime. Fresh, home made pasta with mouth watering fillings. On our second visit, we both tried the pizza's and found them disappointing, with no real flavour, and little... read more

Please, please, please don't leave Barcelona before eating here. The delicioza salad is unnormaly delicious and the pasta just complete a perfect meal!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful evening here, the pasta was fantastic, cooked to perfection, and the sauce was equally good. The waiters were friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is sick to death of tapas and wants some good old fashioned Italian!

We live in Los Angeles and have access to world famous, top restaurants. We love Italian food and we were craving some while visiting Barcelona. This restaurant feels like a local gem (not touristy!!) and everything we ordered was out of this world. The service was perfect and we wished we had more room in our stomachs to enjoy more... More

After a few disappointments with some awful 'touristy' restaurants, I was very pleased to eat here. The staff are very hospitable and the food is great. The Calzone Classico is quite possibly the best pizza I've eaten outside Italy.

Kinda stumbled into this restaurant after visiting the wonderful marketplace on the the Ramblas; must admit that we were really hungry after looking at all of the wonderful edibles on display there. We were seated by a very friendly waitress, chose a good Italian wine to get us going, and immersed ourselves in the menu. Many options available, all sounded... More

We visited La Locanda after a morning of sightseeing and we'd picked it out in advance based on its trip advisor reviews as we knew it was very touristy area and we didn't want to be caught up in some of the areas of over priced poor quality food. The reviews were great so we thought we'd see what all... More

Was craving for some pasta and found this place on tripadvisor(due to the good reviews). Tried the chicken with lemon cream sauce(we actually ordered the one with white wine sauce, but they gave us the wrong dish), the chicken was tasteless, the sauce was ok....Mushroom tagliatelle-mushroom tasted terrible and the pasta was way too soft. And the wine...it was warm-i... More

We wanted something different after several days of tapas and Mediterranean food. This was a great option! My hubby and I shared one of the fixed menu items, with assorted ravioli, (excellent selection and delicious!), pizza (thin but not too thin crust, just enough cheese) and steak. Each item was well-prepared and presented. The wait staff kept our wine and... More

We had a late dinner at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. At the suggestion of the waiter, we had a veal appetizer and a salad before getting our pizza. The pizza was amazing, it was a thin crust pizza unlike anything I've ever had before. Highly recommended!!
