Simple and very good.

I've been here a few times before and it was always good. Took the kids last night for pizzas. Not a pizza fan but I felt sure that if they could do good pasta which I knew they could, the their pizzas would be good too... and they were. Had a little spat with the waiter over how long it... read more

After trying a couple of restaurants serving bad pasta, we found this Italian restaurant in Barcelona on Google (tripadvisor). Excellent food and service.

Lovely cocktails, fantastic pizza and really quick and friendly service considering we don't speak any Spanish

After wandering around the streets near our hotel we came upon this Italian restaurant that was open before 8:30pm. It was extremely busy but the servers took great care of us. We had ravioli - mine was goat cheese and pear while my husband had pumpkin and amaretto. Both were delicious. Would have gone back if we had another night.

Lovely Italian food, great selection and reasonable prices for city centre. Went twice during a short city break and enjoyed both meals.

After walking around Barcelona looking for a restaurant that doesn't try and drag you in off the street we found this place, tempted by the wood fired oven we ventured in. Our waiter was excellent and allowed us to switch around ingredients to something that suited us, couldn't have been more helpful. Great value for money generous portions and tasted... More

After spending a lot of time wandering round deserted lanes looking for something authentic, we gave up & decided on pizza..... Went in with low expectations but very pleasantly suprised.... Waiting staff friendly & efficient.... Ordered pizza, not disappointed, tasty thin base... Absolutely lovely....

I thought one should be able to get some decent Italian food in Barcelona, but La Locanda was underwhelming. I felt a little unwelcome from the start, it seemed being solo they almost didn't want to seat me when I arrived, even though they weren't exactly crowded, then it seemed I got pretty second rate service. Food was disappointing overall.... More

Well attended to diners, without being overbearing. Food execution carries the day. Starters to Dessert, all courses stood tall.
