Very nice place with nice service giving right advices. Excellent tapas and fantastic atmosphere, whole family enjoyed
Have been here a few times and it is the best tapa around. Potatoes bravas you won't forget. If you don't have a reservation, it is worth the wait for a seat at the bar.
We went here on our first night in Barcelona as it was highly recommended by our hotel staff .Yes it had a trendy local crowd and service was friendly and humorous but erratic. We sat perched on uncomfortable high stools as it was crowded. I am not sure what everyone is raving about. We spent 40 euros for 4 plates of... More
Wonderful restaurant with delicious food! I've been travelling to Spain a lot for the past 5 years (Madrid and Barcelona) and this was definitely the best tapas I've had. They also have fantastic desserts - their Crema Catalana was delicious, and we also tried their home-made chocolate truffles. The service is excellent too, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere.... More
From the minute we walked into this vibrant restaurant and we're warmly welcomed, we fell in love with the place. From our perch at the tapas bar, we chose incredibly fresh shellfish, mouthwatering foie on grilled, crusty bread and jambon that was expertly sliced right in front of us. The Spanish wines were outstanding and unbelievably reasonable in price. Truly... More
This place is simply great: the food is amazing, great service. The only problem is that it is so popular that one cannot really get a reservation, I believe. So, coming at the opening hour is the only way to make sure to get it. Definitely worth it.
Friendly Restaurant with a Great Selection of Food and Good Pricing. Found nothing to 'complain' about.
This restaurant has the steakhouse-esque feel of an american restaurant with the Barcelona flare of authentic Spanish cuisine. The food was unrivaled during our 2 week stay in Barcelona - many restaurants do a few things well, but Paco Meralgo does everything well. The filet was so good, we ordered 2.
We had tapas at Bambarol and La Flauta. Both high rated, but Paco Meralgo was the best. We had 8 plates and a few beers for 50€
Went for a mid-week lunch and the food was great. In particular the croquettas de sepia and the alcachofas con mozzerella... yum! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, despite it being totally packed!
