We have discovered this place here on tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. Once we arrived, we had to wait outside for about 20 minutes, as the restaurant is quite small. However, the wait was totally worth it. Not only the staff is very nice and friendly, but food is excellent. The greatest surprise, however, was the bill:... More

Love the fresh food, served very quickly. Attractive pricing. Love being in a very local scene. Only if you are willing to wait, enjoy the crowd and can be noisy with basic service. Which we enjoyed. Thus two dinners in a row.

Amazing place to eat in Barcelona! Really typical place with oneof the best seafood I've ever yet. Go walk on Barceloneta and stop there.

After failing to secure a seat at our first attempt, we went back the next night and waited outside for the doors to open. Can Mano makes simple food, mostly grilled or deep fried, but it was fresh and very enjoyable. Do not expect high quality decor, two uncovered fluorescent lights in the roof, plastic furniture etc, but it is... More

When we passed by, a lot of people where in a line to get in. By chance we decided to go and had the last table. It is basic, with fresh ingredients from the sea. We had grilled squid, sardines, fries anchovis, fried aubergines and bakes tomatoes. It was very tasty! Mmm...

All the practical infos you can find in other reviews. We got there at 7.45pm and were seated promptly when it opened at 8pm. And were out of there by 8:35pm. Good chips from real potatoes, good grilled tomatoes. Not-quite-fresh fish (Anchovies and Hake) battered and deep fried. Abrupt service. They forgot some of our order, which was good as... More

As a visitor, it would be highly presumptuous to presume to know what a genuine local tapas bar looks like but this restaurant does deliver on straightforward tasty plates of food at seriously low prices. Service is friendly and attentive - even if you are completely lacking in either Spanish or Catalan. Try a bottle of their vino turbio; €6.50... More

This place is very nice and colorful home restaurant. There are a lot of people. You need to stay in line to come in. The prices are law, the dishes are unusial and tasty. They cook rather quick.

If you want some simple and down-to-earth, but good local food, this is the place to go. There was a queue of people waiting for the 8pm sharp opening. Seating is basic. Service is simple and swift. Food was fresh and very tasty. Good portion size. We ordered a tad too much to share between four - hake (fried), red... More
