This place is an oasis in a sea of La Ramblas tourist traps. We were staying at the Meridien across the street from it which was good as we could spend on our entire breakfast for a family of 4 what would have cost us for 1 at the hotel. Good food, decent enough selection and they are happy to... More

Very well located off the Las Ramblas, this cute, boutique bar/cafe is a great stop. My son decided to take me here and we enjoyed an absolutely delightful meal with a bottle of Rioja (tempranillo) in one of their outdoor tables. Lots of action in the neighborhood so there was plenty to pay attention to as we enjoyed our meal.... More

perhaps I am biased because I was with my son after a long absence, but this was a FANTASTIC meal. We had 4 tapas meals, Jamon, octopus, a mystery, croquettes, fajitas and two desserts. The octopus was served with a tasty oil after being baked and it was the best ever. Traditional serving of spanish ham with toast points. The... More

Don't go here if you are really hungry. We stopped here for lunch and ordered the gambas ajillo and almejas ajillo ( both from the tapas menu). With some pan con tomate and a couple of small glasses of draught beer. Both tapas were very tasty, but only got 7 gambas and small plate of almejas Bill came to 41... More

One of my favorite restaurants in Barcelona where I go a couple of times a year with work colleagues. We tend to get several Tapas dishes rather than the main courses. Staff are quick and friendly. Atmosphere is great. Make sure you have the battered eggplant with honey, its out of this world!

If you only eat in one place in Barcelona, make sure it is here. The best tapas, best staff, great location. Bar Lobo makes me: 1. Glad I'm retuning to Barcelona in February 2. Sad that it will be my last business trip there for a while, as our conference moves to London afterwards.

This resto was across from our hotel, so for convenience sake we decided to stop by one afternoon around 3pm. We were greeted immediately upon entering, and seated in a 6 top that they converted to a 2 top for my husband and me. The decor is what I would describe as bistro like, with somewhat rustic wooden tables and... More

We stayed at the hotel H1898, this little Restarunt is part of the hotel and can be accessed through the hotel bar or outside through the main, courtyard, entrance. A great selection of Tapes and small but nice selection of sandwiches and main courses. Good selection of wine. Excellent vegetarian Tapes! A great, informal restaurant with very reasonable prices and... More
