Modern spanish

A gentrified version of a spanish restaurant. Open from breakfast 'til late. Lively ambience with friendly and efficient staff. Some of the tapas are really great. Otherwise the food is ok but not worth a detour. But absolutely worth a visit!

The salad and the shrimps were really good. The staff were service minded and the place is recommendable for anyone looking for a good meal.

I have been there several times since I moved to Barcelona. Delicious tapas and cool atmosphere. Staff is kind and they speak good English! Location is perfect, since it's just a bit far from Ramblas, but still close to the city center! A must visit place!

Nice plates. Good food. Ok service. Very tourist friendly. Quiet place, short distance to la rambla. Delicious prawns. Loved the arugula salad.

Normally I would never go to a restaurant in Barcelona which is located close to the touristic places. However, the food is very good. Even the service is mass-processing you, the food can beat it. We ordered some tapas and we did not get disappointed. The ambiance is nice, the staff is okay (not the best), so this restaurant can... More

I've been to Barcelona many times, this is hands down my favorite restaurant. The service is average, the interior is average, but the food is amazing. Prices seem to be mid to low, dinner for two is around 40 euro. If you go to dinner, usually there is a waiting time of at least 15-20 minutes, and for a good... More

Found this restaurant by accident, attracted by its decor, we walked in and had hot chocolate, and the price was surprisingly reasonable. this place is perfect for relaxing after walking so much in town.

We came for dinner here. The food was very good. We had tapas and some good wine. Make sure you order the ham croquettes- best I've ever had!!! The lemon pie was delicious as well. It was busy the whole time wee were there. Staff was friendly and spoke good English.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
