On a rainy afternoon, we stumbled onto this corner (a tad off the beaten path), a block from our hotel and La Ramba. We sat at the bar, the server was delightful, the sangria delicious, the tapas tasty and hot. We went twice during our stay, enjoying ham croquettes, potatos brava, grilled artichokes, iberica ham, pesto pasta, grilled vegetables, lemon... More

Great spot with excellent friendly service and mostly delicious food. We had numerous tapas dishes which really hit the spot. If I had to criticize, the hummus was strangely bland. But this was a minor blemish. Not bad value either despite proximity to La Rambla.

The best place since I arrived for a 5 days trip in Barcelona. Well prepared and delicious tapas with an excelent "wine of the house". A gourmet experience! For sure I will return to Bar Lobo before leaving Spain.

We passed this restaurant and were impressed with the decor and tapas menu. We should have left immediately when the waiter ignored us and the lady cleaning the windows told us to sit ! The drinks were wrong when the they were bought to us, we opted for the spanish version of ham egg and chips as we couldnt decide... More

We stopped here on Sunday for breakfast before heading to the airport for our flights. The service is informal and friendly and the restaurant has a real neighbourhood feel to it. The breakfast was great, I recommend having The Churchill (scrambled eggs, tomatoes, bacon, toast, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice). The prices were very reasonable. A nice little restaurant... More

We walked in off the street to get the last table, many people were turned away afterwards and some chose to sit at the bar and wait. The food was good and served quickly, garlic prawns, patas bravas, artichokes with ham. We also had a guacamole dish which was a little bland but overall we enjoyed it. I thought it... More

Stopped by for breakfast one morning. Good options, good service, good food. Location is very convenient for starting off your day strolling around La Rambla.

This is a large airy space with several tables inside and some outside. We went twice over a long weekend - having stumbled on it looking for another bar. The food is mainly tapas style but also salads and mains. The grilled artichoke (we had it without the ham) is still very memorable as is the aubergine with maple syrup.... More

My husband had gotten the tip from a colleague, without any kind of address. To our surprise we just passed by it, basically just off La Rambla, just into El Raval. The place is part of the Tragaluz chain, consisting of hotels and restaurants. Each place has its own character, contemporary, fresh, professional. Bar Lobo has taken tapas to a... More
