A seafood market with cooking included

I was very surprised by this restaurant. Informal and relaxed, with good quality and reasonably priced fresh seafood. First, we were directed to a market bench to choose our food and tell them how to cook it. The attendant was telling us it was never enough, but we knew our limits and took the... read more

There are a few Paradeta's in the city. All concept of choose your fish, pay and eat. It's very popular by locals long queuing to enter and can by very (almost annoying)busy. Price is is low to mid range. Atmosphere is rather low range. I have been dozen's of times, crab salad and gamba's are great. If you want a... More

Waiting at the line takes approximately 30 minutes. Then you can choose your food, actually very fresh. Cooking takes about 5 minutes and the way is simple. Selfservice. Unfortunately toilets are inadequte and dirty.

Went to La Paradeta after our tour of Barcelona. It was a recommendation by our tour guide and after finding out that they are a chain restaurant I was a little skeptical and cautious. I like to eat local and especially mom and pop places if I can. When we entered it was utter chaos as the line was long... More

Went to the restaurant last year in september, and has been speaking about the experience ever since.. So today we brought some family from Denmark, and went there again.. Such a good experience - and cheap too.. Don't let the cheap looking dining area fool you - it's a hidden pearl:)

If you love fish - go there! We weren't really hungry but just the look at the fresh fish lead us to eat.. way too much, but everything was so delicious. And economic! €36 to get more than full for two people.

I can't believe what quality of food was so close and yet, just far enough away from the Gaudi tourist attraction. The surroundings are very basic, but clean with fantastically fresh sea food. The staff were very friendly, but it is part self service. 4 of us eat there and loved the food, but you have to be happy getting... More

This was the best for those adventurous diners who avoid the places where everyone speaks English and the food is predictable! If you are an. "Ugly" tourist please avoid this place...it's not for you :). You walk into what looks like a fish market. English is not spoken. You point to some delicious fresh food on display and do your...
