Highly recommended for Seafood lovers that want to taste the wonders of basic cuisine (a clear example of "when less is more"). Not a place for a romantic dinner, but definitely a place for hanging out with family/friends thata enjoy good food.

Those who love sea foods should actually visit here. We went there for the lunch following the suggestion from our hotel reception. We had problems with menus in other restaurants in Barcelona because we didn't know Spanish. At La Paradeta the foods were just there in front of you some of them still alive, and at least for us this... More

The best thing about this restaurant is that there are four of it, so you can look for the one closer to where you are staying and eat fish that you choose yourself from the fishmonger bench! The food was very good and the place decor quite interesting! The presonnel was very friendly and even thougfh they do not speak... More

Some of the best seafood I've had in Barcelona, and I lived there for three months! On a weekday in March, there's usually only a few people in line; however, I can see how slow it could get. It's no frills -- just point and tell them how much of each item you want (they speak English). Then collect a... More

As we are in spain, how can you not refuse to have seafood, we got recommended this restaurant and we went online to understand how to order .... When we got there, all the seafood you could imagine was there, you pick and choose how many quantity or kg(portions) you would like to order, and they will cook it for... More

Very slow. Probably due to lack of staff in the kitchen. Unable to care for clients in the local language (Catalan).

Only having 48 hours in Barcelona we wanted to sample as much of Barcelona as possible, having been recommended this restaurant by a good friend we had high expectations and we weren't let down. My wife and I have eaten in too many spanish restaurants to remember but this has to be up there with the best. Low key but... More

The great thing about this place is you get great tasting seafood, cooked simply and at prices similar to the fishmonger. It feels like a school dinning room so don't expect any fancy service and it's largely self service. If you like this great approach then look at Mariscco for a slightly more sophisticated option but still with stunning seafood... More

Make sure you come early to queue... apparently all good food in Barcelona needs a queue... but once you have made it to the counter you will know why you have waited in the sun. You will find a large selection of fresh sea food to choose from. Make sure you know how you would like it to be cooked.... More

We found it on our last night. Thankfully our receptionist at K & K hotel told us to get in the queue at least half an hour before it opens. Good job we did there was a long queue by opening tme. We were about fifth. You have to be quick, the shutters are up and in you go to... More
