Must check out!

great cozy place. Not everything we order was amazing, mostly was good, but the meat with foie, the egg carpaccio and the croquetas were mind blowing! Some thing they do are just too good. Service was very good, too. Nice, professional and quick. Excellent wine selection. I ll be back for sure!

Bar Mut is a trendy tapas bar. The waiters are personable and handsome (!) and speak good English. If you can, sit at the large table on the right and you might be seated next to locals. That's what happened to us, and we all shared a wonderful evening. We just let our waiter order for us and we had... More

The noise and the fun crowd are Spanish, but the elegant dark floor, bronze fittings and etched glass, give it a distinctly French air. the menu is written on three blackboards, in Spanish. One lists small goods, another lists seafood with rich additions like sobrassada or foie gras, while the third lists delicious creations, like charcoal- grilled octopus, tuna tartare,... More

It's a small cozy place so be warned that you could get seated on wine barrel high tops. Our party of 7 watched as a sit down table was being set only to be given to a larger group with a reservation. We had a reservation too but such an intimate restaurant has to make due with the tight space... More

the nice side is Mutis feels like s speakeasy you need to be buzzed in an apparent condo and knock on the door before entering a cosy small room with a handful of tables, sister restaurant of the downstairs highstreet Bar Mut, the food is of equal high quality, but disappointing that they do not have a menu for food,... We had made a reservation earlier on that day for 7:30 and upon arriving a very rude and arrogant waitress who said the next sitting was at 9pm. I explained I made this reservation and she literally looked at me up and down and implied I was a liar as she was the one who took the reservation. She left... More

Small and intimate, informal, amazing food and good selection of wines. In my experience service was fast. A bit pricey but worth it.

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
