Brunch stop

Stopped here for a spot of brunch, for breakfast is really good value, the food was lovely and the service was fine, although half way through the order the waiter was needed else where, but he returned promptly enough. The decor and atmosphere was equally lovely. Wasn't blown away but as I only... read more

My family and I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant thanks to trip advisor. It is conveniently located in La Ramblas. Their selection is incredible, their servers are extremely helpful and friendly, and the food is so delicious. We ordered several tapas, our favorites being the shrimp in garlic, the grilled squid, and the classic papas bravas but everything we ordered... More

We went for tapas with a group of about 12 people. The service was very good and the prices were reasonable. They also didn't mind that we sat for quite a while at the table. very relaxed evening.

We were thankful to get a table during a very busy night in Barcelona. The staff was very accommodating and provided good service. We found the menu to be focused on seafood. The non seafood tapas were just ok. Overall we thought the food and atmosphere was average. Prices were consistent or better than other restaurants. Calamari and steak were... More

Although this is a chain and I prefer going to individual restaurants we still decided to try it as it was close to where we were staying. The place did not disappoint! All the tapas dishes were good, Sangria was delicious and the cheesecake was amazing. One of our friends dropped and broke a wine glass, but the staff were... More

I can honestly say that this was the best tapas place so far in Barcelona. The fish tapas are so juicy and delicious, it feels like heaven. Friendly staff. It's a little bit more expensive than other tapas place, but the fish come straight from the other side of the road (La Boqueria), so you couldn't ask for anything fresher!

We have been seeing quite some restaurants in Barcelona, but this belonged to the top. In the middle of the Gotic neighborhood. We had to wait, but were seated in ten minutes. No push to let you move on and excellent food. More seats are inside, but if the weather is ok, sitting on the terraces outside is better, although... More

Friday afternoon. Four people-9 items, water & beer. 65 Euro. Great bargain. Great taste. Very busy but wait staff was attentive and helpful. Would definitely return.

Having tried various tapas over our week in Barcelona, we decided to try Taller de Tapas, and we were glad we did! All food was just delicious and reasonably priced for the amount you get, which was always generous! Quick and friendly service, menus in various languages, and a great atmosphere - so much so we went back on our... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
