Average food, poor service

This is a tourist trap, so this is to be expected. The menu might look good but in fact the food is below average, and the service is really ignorant. The other reviews mention absence of any sides that would normally come with stakes or any meat - all true. The plates look pretty pathetic because... read more

For the restaurant on the main street, it is very good and nice place. I ate paella which was great, other portions are a little small and there is no side dish. Prices are ok and the ambience is good. It's much nicer sitting on the upper side of restaurant than at the window.

Bad food and service, but it looks ok... They served a bread, then, five minutes later, a whole tomato. That was supposed to be a starter. The main course was a piece of meat and chips (from a bag, not fries...) that's it...

Having been to this restaurant on our previous visit to Barcelona a few years ago we returned to find it very disappointing indeed. We booked a table for us, a family of four for 7.30pm. Upon arriving we were shown to our table which was nice enough and after having to ask for some drinks and the children's menu we... More

Visited tonight with my family. We had reviewed the menu previously and had been recommended by a friend. On arrival all was well. When we were seated we had nice seats overlooking las ramblas. Lovely so far. Deciding against unreasonably priced rosé, we ordered 2 bottles of 1L water and our food to be told that they could not cook... More

Drawn in by busy setting and reasonable prices. Lady on reception was helpful. Had to wait 15 minutes for a table which we took as a good sign. In actual fact we waited 10 minutes after being seated to get a drink, another 10 to receive them and about 20 minutes to make our order. The food was very, very... More

On our next to last night in Barcelona, we saw a line of people patiently waiting outside the first floor door leading to the stairs. Thinking we would not be able to be seated without a reservation; we walked upstairs to look at the menu for a possible visit the next night. The Hostess asked if we would like to... More

After a tiring day sightseeing my husband and I wanted to eat not too far from our hotel, one of the many H10 hotels in Barcelona. We looked at a couple of restaurants along La Ramblas and stumbled upon is one. The menu looked fairly decent so we went in. As it was a Sunday and out of season it... More

We chose this restaurant as it was on the busy ramblas and the menu looked decent. Service was good inside but the we weren't particularly impressed with the food. All of it was quite greasy and salty, and neither of us felt like finishing it all. Also disappointing to find no spanish beer!
