Oh My God the Pizza!

We walked a long way to get to this place because it was recommended in the Lonely Planet guidebook and we thought my son would appreciate a day off from tapas. At first, when I walked in, I was doubtful. The decor was more mid-town Manhattan than Barcelona, if you ask me. But the waiters were... read more

Absolutely fabulous ...great little place although a little out from the main areas in Barcelona this place is well worth the few stops on the Metro to get there..I have not tasted a pizza as good outside of Italy ( may need to book in the busy season as the restaurant never seems to empty)

We visited La Bella Napoli just last week, a family of 3. We asked our hotel concierge to recommend a pizza restaurant & were so glad we did, as we would never have found La Bella Napoli otherwise. It is a small/medium size restaurant run by a very friendly team serving fantastic pizzas, all made in in an open kitchen... More

Best pizza in Barcelona, hands down. A bit more expensive then your typical pizza in the city, but a different league from the others. And the staff are all Napolitano, which makes dinner even more entertaining. Favorite pizza : Sofia Loren.

We arrived about 4:45 pm on a recent Friday. We were told to seat ourselves. We were brought a menu and that was it..........One other table was occupied, they received their check, paid it at the table and left. We were NEVER asked if we wanted something to drink nor even approached for a food order. After an approximate 20... More

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of friends and, to put my comments in a nutshell, if the waiters weren’t so overbearing, bordering on “bordes”, this restaurant would easily be somewhere between very good and excellent. But whilst I can’t complain about the quality of the food, we had anti-pasti, pizzas and pasta and dessert which were all very... More

This is THE pizza and pasta restaurant in the city. Napolitan style service with a certain orientation on theatre representation. Suitable both for business and family.

It was like coming back to Italy all over again. White tablecloths, authentic pizza, incredible burrata with olives and ruccola, heavenly tiramisu -- what more can you ask for? This place is lunch only except on Tuesdays when it does dinners. Make sure to make a reservation for dinner. One of the rooms features a gorgeous view of the flaming... More

Super reception by the Owner and Waiters. Really Excellent Service at a busy time. We all enjoyed our Pizzas and as two of our crowd have blood connection to Naples, they should know! Very reasonably priced and most enjoyable.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
