Cozy gem of a restaurant in Barrio Gotic !

Food was awesome ! Try the cheese carpaccio and beetroot tartar. Never thought beetroot could taste that good ! Steak was lovely. Ambience was charming and romantic. Service was great but a little slow. Don't be in a hurry when you come here.

Always a great experience and delicious food! Very good for romantic dinners. Remember to let the waiter recommend the wine ;-)

This place is really nice in the sense that is intimate and cosy, beautiful low lights, experienced kind staff and not in a touristic packed road but in a solitary romantic road in the gothic quarter. However, I found it too expensive for what it was and the menu list was quite reduced and a bit "special" - meaning not... More

We ate here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cooking reflected the culinary innovation we expected to find in Catalonia - traditional combinations, but cutting-edge techniques such as freeze-drying then powdering. Anchovies with tomato gazpacho were more exciting as a starter than beetroot tartare. Roast octopus tentacles were twinned with kimchee - a fascinating dish, but the spice rather clashed... More

You navigate through the back streets to find Pla and then wow, you enter a different world. Very friendly staff and a great menu and supporting wine list. Great atmosphere and interesting decor, well worth the visit for sure.

So, Pla is a little slower than a lot of options in Barcelona, but for good reason. It is a nice room and worthy of relaxing and enjoying a glass of Cava or wine. The service is nice and cozy and the food excellent. Enjoy it!

Had a meal here with my wife on our last night in Barcelona. Nice looking restaurant with trendy/cosy decor. It was a bit more expensive as to where we would normally eat but thought it might be worth it. My starter Manchego cheese was very nice and resented very well, my wife was not so happy with her salad which... More

The food was consistently terrible: stringy and tough corvina ceviche, lifeless piece of monkfish cooked sous-vide and rewarmed but not all the way through, stewed fennel that tasted like mush studded with tough fibers, scarily salty anchovies combined with completely bland eggplant swimming in gazpacho. Very cute and cozy atmosphere in a tucked away Gothic quarter location makes it look... More
