Great food and intimate ambiance. Tucked away in a small street in the old city. We were lucky to get in - normally you need a reservation, but there was a power outage on the night that we showed up, and we waited out front while they fixed it and the owner brought us all wine in the street and... Me and my girlfriend were recommend Pla by a business contact. This restaurant is tucked away within a archway of a building but is one of Barcelona hidden gems. The food was excellent and staff very attentive to us. I loved the way the waiter sat down at the table and explained the menu, it felt more personal. You will... More

We ate at Pla on my brother's recommendation - my husband, son and girlfriend. Each dish was creatively prepared and delicious. Nice, dark but cozy atmosphere, service was excellent - attentive but not rushed. We would come back certainly!

Great food...small cozy and dimly lit...Def a date place but I went with the Familia. Sommelier was excellent....food was great...it's a twist on traditional Spanish food.

The place isn't easy to find by car. Best to walk. On a street with no car access. worth the effort however. Not a tourist spot. Terrific menu selections that seem to change daily. Interesting wines from Spain can be found here. It's difficult to pick restaurants in Barcelona as there are so many great ones. This one is great,... More

Pla was recommended by the concierge at a friend's hotel, and it did not disappoint us in any way. It goes without saying that the location is amazing, but so was the food, wine and service. The ambience was lovely, enhanced by the young lady playing the guitar in the background. We had a wonderful evening there, and I would... More

Absolutely delicious food using local fresh ingredients with modern touch. Service great but you must book as very popular. Located in gotic area so not always easy to find.

Pla is an amazing place to eat. The chef has some interesting gastronomic ideas and they all work. First time we have eaten rare pork and it tasted amazing. Every dish had awesome tastes and the house wine was not too bad either. Can be pricy but ambiance and service is great

The food was out of this world! I had the barley with vegetables (veggie paella). The wine was so wonderful..,ask your waiter for suggestions...they were right on target with my taste!
