In September 1998 Thai Gardens Barcelona opens its doors for the first time. At the time the city lacked thai cuisine restaurants. Opening our doors to the public every single day throughout these past sixteen years, we have seen how the offer of Asian cuisine was growing in Barcelona and how, at the same time, our role as Royal Thai Cuisine ambassadors was being consolidated. Our restaurant is the result of the efforts of a great team that day after day transform any meal in a pleasant moment in the ancient kingdom of Siam.

Excellent Thai in Barcelona

The place to go for large groups, business, family, functions. Very large. Amazing decoration, top-notch. Superb Thai cuisine (not as spicy as in Thailand, but it's the generaly the case; tastes great nevertheless).

I have to say that the restaurant is really nice as well as the staff. However, I ordered the green curry and it didn't taste like green curry at all. I'm not saying that food wasn't good but what I can say is that it wasn't green curry, only something that looked like that. Maybe other dishes are more authentic... More

Staff was a little grumpy but the food was very nice, we thought that it was more Thai, it was not very special. Although the taste was very good.

The ambiance is very nice, the room is well furnished all seems very original. Unfortunately the food and it's presentation was very disappointing. First of all it seems very odd to have to order rice (4.45 Euro) separately to a curry dish- does anybody eat it without? Tom Kha Kai tasted good but they used the wrong mushrooms. The Miang... We have been going to Thai Gardens every time we visit Barcelona since 2001. It has gone from pretty amazing to rather average, especially our last visit. I had booked a table for 4 through their online reservation page for 20.30. When we arrived at 20.40 the girl at reception said we did not have a reservation for 20.30. She... More

This is the place to come for atmosphere only...very tastefully decorated. Love it! The food was just slightly better than average and the service appalling. Overpriced.

Went with the kids for lunch on Saturday they loved it, great service and food! Pad Thai was yummy! The waiter wasn't smiling much and told us they don't have chopsticks when we asked but still overall a great experience! The decoration is amazing!

Thai Garden will offer you a great meal with a variety of tastes. The service was really good and fast, adapting and making suggestions for my vegetarian friend as well . We ordered in advance the menus and the food was more than enough. The Menu for 21 Euros has different plates and types of meat with a variety of... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
