Basking in the sun.

We had lunch outside on a beautiful day. The wait was about 30 minutes, but Antonio organized things very nicely and the wait was worth it. The food was very good - the shrimp with garlic was particularly note worthy. Service was very good considering how busy the restaurant was. The 600 liter beer... read more

I ordered a paella which took half and hour to come and was burnt. It looked like it had just been sat under a heater for 7 hours. I refused to eat it and left the restaurant, the waiter wasn't accommodating whatsoever. Shambles!!

We ate here soon after arriving in Barcelona and were pleased with our lunch. The food was quite tasty, but lunchtime portions are quit small. Great outdoor eating area. Fairly good service. Recommended if you're not too hungry.

Found this restaurant while taking a tour. We had their lunch special which included a delicious Caesar salad and chicken and fries. The food was very good, and the service was great.

We have just returned from a trip to Barcelona with friends and we all loved this place. The food is gorgeous & great value, but it's real asset is it's staff - they are fantastic. Tony is an excellent host and made sure we were well looked after from the moment we walked through the door. We ate here several... More

We entered initially for a quick wine and a use of their toilet. Immediately impressed by the welcome received. We stayed for more drinks. Tapas. One or two for the road. Handshakes and kisses. An utterly brilliant evening spent here. The food was gorgeous. I can not comment on any fish dishes as neither of us like them, but everything... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
