Awesome band

It looks like a typical dive bar but it was so much fun. There was a mixed age crowd. The beer was fresh and at an appropriate temperature. The band that night was totally awesome. People got up and just danced if they wanted to. The service was good and the staff was attentive. The bathroom was... read more

This was our best meal in our 3 day stay in Barcelona. The quality of the food was fresh, extremely well prepared to the finest detail, and very well presented. The oxtail was scrumptous. Be prepared to spend a little more on your meal here, and do make reservations and follow a dress code. The restaurant is right outside a... More

Excellent restaurant in the Eixample! The food here is unique and every plate we tried delicious. The patatas bravas and the octopus are delectable and shouldn't be missed, even if that's all you eat. The chef here, one of the best in Barcelona, is a creative spirit! Very good wine list. Service was perfect.

Beautiful tasting food in a contemporary modern setting - attentive and friendly service. The duck cannelloni melts in your mouth, tender and tasty octopus "surprise" and probably the best potatas bravas in Barcelona - cannot wait for my next visit!

it's an upscale restaurant in an area that is mostly little joints and cheap eats, just had some wonderful tapas, very high end, try their interpretation of bravas, the octopus igloo, the duck caneloni, and the wild mushrooms in foie sauce... Pure bliss!

Manuel Simoes is superb cook. Oysters from Normandie. Taittinger champagne. Foie gras mi-cuit. Iglu de pulpo. All original and different. Better than five stars. Small and pretty bar. Have to reserve a table or stay at bar.

Without a doubt one of the best family restaurants in Bcn. After living here for 30years I have tried them all, but this one is for me among the best for service, elaboration and food ingenuity.

This restaurant was recommended in a travel book I had & happened to be around the corner from the hotel I was staying in. So it made perfect sense to try it out! The food was amazing. The taste was only rivalled by its presentation. The service was both attentive & friendly. This was why we choose to eat here... More

Loved everything they served . Went to this restaurant on our food lover tour and really enjoyed it! Our guide ordered all the food, and we tried many different dishes and enjoyed them all.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
