Good location for private business lunch

We had a good business dinner with a group of 10. I have to say that their glass rooms are very handy to hold private discussion during our dinners. Service was good, and food was ok, without being extra ordinary

Loved everything they served . Went to this restaurant on our food lover tour and really enjoyed it! Our guide ordered all the food, and we tried many different dishes and enjoyed them all.

Easily the best food I had in four days in Barcelona. Great take on tapas - particularly the patatas bravas which were novel and very tasty! Everything cooked and presented to a high standard, and when combined with a very reasonably priced wine list and relaxed atmosphere it made for a wonderful evening. This place will be a definite return... More

We were there two families at this restaurant. It's not common for tourists be there because isn't situated at central of city. The environment is decorated well. On every table is placed statue , on the wall decorated by pictures. As we felt ourself at family table...when we got our food was decorate as show food. Warm, delicious , high... More

This restaurant was part of a food tour, and is supposed to be one of the great gastronomy places in the city. We had a five course meal, and every dish was perfect. Definitely recommend finding this one!

Even to us , living in Barcelona and spoilt for choice, the Taverna del Clinic delivers a standout experience on all levels. the decor is elegant but rustic, the atmosphere solemn as befitting one about to indulge in the sin of Gluttony but the staff so charming and easygoing that in the end it feels like a family dinner and... This little tapas "tavern" right next to one of Barcelona's biggest hospitals serves a good range of top quality and original tapas. Not the typical little "pintxos" on bread, rather small dishes such as "igloo of octopus" where the succulent octopus pieces nestle inside a dome of delicious mashed potatoes or duck filled cannelloni where the melt-in-the-mouth duck is wrapped... The restaurant manages to be both smart and relaxed. I was really pleased to be facing the open plan kitchen at the back of the restaurant. The kitchen brigade were smart and clean, working very hard and efficiently, no swearing or shouting. The food was the best that we had in Barcelona, sort of modern Spanish. So that patatas bravas... I am one of the most regular costumers at this place, coming sometimes five times a week, my family and friends love it here and I sometimes find myself having lunch and dinner same day over and over. I have known this place since the beginning and I have experience the changes over time. To start I would like to... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
