A very pleasant surprise

La Lluna is tucked away down an alley off Santa Anna. If offers a great set lunch and dinner, with great local specialities at very competitive prices. Staff are friendly and helpful, too! It can be a little noisy as it gets full of Spanish ladies who are lunching, but that's a small price to pay for great local food!

We were lucky this was open earlier than the other restaurants. We just has tapas because of time limits on our tour but they were A+. I would love to visit again and sample some of the culinary treats they were preparing in the kitchen. The owners were a delight and we felt like family for the brief time we... More

My partner and I (Coeliac) did a bit of research before we came out to Barcelona on GF restaurants. Là Lluna exceeded all of our expectations with the best food and service we experienced over the 4 day trip. The menu is pretty much all GF and there is the nice touch of having Gluten free bread and beer. The... More

My partner and I (Coeliac) did a bit of research before we visited Barcelona on GF restaurants. I must say La Lluna did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations. The whole menu was pretty much GF and for once you don't feel like an outcast for asking which meals are GF. Every single meal was exceptional, and the nice touch... More

My husband and I travel to Barcelona each year, never bored of the loving atmosphere. Recently I was diagnosed with coeliac. This time round out visit involved us searching for restaurants that offer gluten free. Well, down the streets of the rambler tucked away down a narrow alley, is this beautiful restaurant La Llauna. Greeted by this lovely gentleman on... More

We were looking for something different from fast food and tapas bars crowded with tourists and we turned lucky to follow the reccomendation to have dimmer in La Lluna. It is different and we were glad to see many local people there which is a good sign. The service was good and friendly, some staff spoke good English, and the... More

Inconsistent, food and service , place is nice, prices ok but very tricky a lots of supplements in some menus and not in others (disorganized) tents to create problems at the end of the meal review your ticket.

We weren't sure about eating here because the price was so low, 15 Euros for 3 courses, but it was delicious. The portions weren't huge but certainly sufficient. Lots of GF options and a great find.

Found this restaurant on trip advisor since it serves gluten free dishes and end up eating there 2 lunches in a row. Regardless to the fact they have so many dishes that were GF, the food was absolutely delicious! We booked lunch for the day after with no doubt. This place is not touristic at all, we were the only... More
