Food cooked to perfection. Try their cheese and salads

The place is done differently to reflect good and natural produce. Try their starters especially cheese and salads and traditional way of eating toasted bread by rubbing garlic and tomato and adding few drops of olive oil to get the authentic taste of food. Really felt like I was getting a taste of Catalonia when I was here - wild boar, cheese-stuffed onion, chocolate rabbit, Spanish rose - we ordered a wide selection in a group of 4 and we were not disappointed. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona who wants to feel like they're in Michelin restaurant without the price-tag. The perfect holiday... More

All the food was excellent here! Enjoyed the cheese selection, Trinxat, Cannelloni trio of seasonal vegtables, spinach pie with goat cheese. The apple pie was excellent and I am especially picky when it comes to desserts. But most of all was the reasonably-priced wines! Friendly and knowledgable service as well.

I had dinner in this lovely restaurant with my girlfriend and some spanish friends last November. I loved the atmosphere of this place since the very beginning: it is small, simple, but it has a good taste of vintage and the wood gives a warm touch. Staff was really kind and they serve quality food: the restaurant as a huge... More

A small restaurant near to the famous church Santa Maria. The restaurant embraces food sourced from Cataluña and provides some interesting dishes, not seen in other establishments. The dishes were very flavoursome, not too large, maybe a bigger portion required for a very hungry person. I tried the lentil salad with octopus, which was extremely tender, followed by the apple... We found this place whilst wondering around the gothic quarter. The food was lovely but between the two of us we ordered 3 main courses and it was on just enough (we ordered a vegetarian main to go with our veg free mains). We couldn't argue about the quality but the portions were very small and that made the meal... More

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
