delicious

I went to Flauta for a tapas dinner and I am really satisfied. The food was delicious and with a great variety of choices. The restaurant is also very good, stylish and modern, with a kind staff.

Really good food, a bit crowded (which is a good sign, right?) Loved its house wine. Located in the gay district so you meet a lot of cool, happy people there.

This place is quite good and the tapas are large compared to most places. Seven of us had 2 bottles of wine, water, a beer and plenty of tapas for 15 euros a piece. Go early, it gets painfully crowded

Being in Barcelona, I decided to try a nice "Tapas restaurant". Could not book on the phone since we were only 3 people (they don't let you). Once there, had to wait at least for 45 minutes. Food is OK, but after reading all the feedback I was expensive something amazing. Price is high, what I guess is acceptable since... More

We went here after a recommendation and absolutely loved it. Make sure you arrive before 9pm otherwise you will be cueing! Don't hesitate to ask the waiter for recommendations on wines and tapas, that's what they are there for and they know their stuff. The food is incredibly good which makes a change from all the tapas bars in Bourne... More

Tapas were good quality...not that special, but good. The service however... Sitting at the bar, eating with like 10 people behind your back. All dishes came fast...and if we finished immediately the question if anything else is wanted...trying to say that we couldn't get away fast enough... In addition, none of the people serving could smile or say thank you.

We arrived and there was a bit of a wait but we were able to get a pitcher of Sangria at the bar. They also had some open tapas to try if we wanted. We were seated in an area upstairs, next to two locals (we know because they ordered something we had never seen before and we asked what... More

We had been in La Flauta before, couple years ago. Then I really loved the place. Good food and very nice service. But now, service was not good at all. The waiters that served us were quite serious and wasn't that friendly. The food was good, but not that surprisingly good, that I had waited. The desert that I had,... More

We arrived around 19:30 on a Saturday evening for dinner based on TripAdvisor reviews and proximity to our hotel. We easily got a table but by the time we left there was a long queue to get in. We throughly enjoyed the tapas which was varied with specials and the house Cava was also very good. One of the best... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
