Went for an extremely late dinner before we left Barcelona. The place was quite packed, but we were quickly given a table. There is an English menu provided and we asked for recommendations. The seafood was incredibly fresh, with the shrimp in garlic oil the must haves! Definitely worth a visit for supper. Not exactly the quickest service, but it... More

Great execution on the prawns and squid. But the resrtaurant seemed to cook fishes less well ~ our cod fish was a tad overdone. Overall, a great experience. The garlic grilled prawns is certainly worth the trip for.

We were on holiday in Barcelona few nights and just happened to stay across this street. Asked the host where was the place for us to taste some authentic local and Mediterranean dish around and she just directed us to here and said this should be the one for us. It was about late night at around 11:00pm and we... More

La Flauta has the best tasting tapas in Barca. The fact that from 5pm there's always a crowd spilling on to the streets as they wait for a table is a testament to it's quality. There's no bookings, so best to go in the afternoon/during the day to avoid the wait. You need to try everything, so either go in... More

All three times I sat at the bar as I was solo. The wine was wonderful and very well priced--- the TAPAS was amazing. The line out the door was well worth the food. I tried 3-4 plates a night. I will be worth the extra lbs I take home to USA. Make sure to ask about there nightly specials

Me and my husband went there with friends at the first time and we ha a lovely meal! We went there on more time to say goodbye to Barcelona. it is impossible to deal with the temptation to try each of the tapas. You also MUST try the "sangria de cava" - refreshing and fruit drink. We loved that and... More

We found this restaurant by chance in 2010. The waitress recommended 'Huevos Cabreados,' eggs on top of fries with hot sauce, and it was really delicious! We enjoyed the tapas there, too. 4 years later, I found the restaurant by memory, and the food is still delicious. The restaurant was packed for later lunch, but the staff was still very... More

A true celebration of good life and a Spanish way of life. Right at the entrance they have a nice exposition of different tapas. While waiting to be seated, and we had to wait for at least 15 minutes, there is enough time to enjoy all the presentation of tapas and seafood. We had 5 - 6 tapas each and... More

The food is always good, service is fast (but there can be a wait...worth the wait.) I never get tired of going here, there are many new choices every time, excellent value.
