Great food and atmosphere!

Great food ( English menu available), very friendly staff who were happy to help us figure out the menu! Cosy seating, a really buzzing atmosphere. All the food was fresh and delicious, wine and beer reasonably priced. We liked it so much we went twice! Top tip is to arrive around 8pm to be seated... read more

Nice tapas restaurant, friendly waiters, good food, good prices. Can become very crowded so be early or make reservations. One downside: the tapas smell gets in to your clothing so you smell like tapas the rest of the weekend.

Not familiar with tapas, so no idea what to choose. I ordered a mixed tapas, egg with chips, and a lunch set. The way of eating chips with proach egg is nice, the lunch set is so so. The waitress is so kind and tried to explain the menu, however the other waiters seemed cool, maybe because we didn't speak... More

Stopped here as the place we were heading to was closed. Glad we did. Portions were ample, delicious and best of all well priced. So impressed we ended up going back 2 nights later! Tonnes of food with 2 bottles of wine and desert to share for ?55. Great value. Arrive early if you don't want to wait, we sat... More

So I went on a tapas tour in Barceloneta down by the ocean and we went to a variety of very authentic places but NOTHING, I mean NOTHING compared to this. For a cheap 13 euro I got in on a beer ,a fois gras pincho, and a pulpo that completely rocked my world. The cold case at the front... More

This place was excellent, great food, the specials were amazing. Very popular with locals and always busy. A must if you love food. Great to sit at the bar and just pick at food or sit down at a table with a group. Try the steak and foie bruschetta, a glutenous delight!

After reading raving reviews, we had to give this place a go. And we were not disappointed. It was amazing food! Service was excellent. But to talk about the important things.. we ordered the following: deep fried small fish (light battered and delicious 10/10), grilled asparagus and mushrooms (still crunchy and perfect accompaniment to other dishes 8/10), sirloin steak (good... Recently stayed around the corner from this fab restaurant - such good value for money and something for everyone. Large portions - tapas really enjoyable and service great. Friendly staff and recommendations for eating from them - English and Spanish menus - as everyone says arrive around 8 and you will be fine - otherwise queues outside the door and... More

This place has an excellent combination of good location, fantastic food, great service, and Spanish/Catalan authenticity - oh, and I should mention the amazingly low prices compared to what you are getting in return. It is particularly charming that they have such a diverse crew - most of the kitchen staff and many servers were of Asian descent. The food... More

I crowded place mainly locals... just the best tapas ever. Seafood, aubergines chips with honey, montaditos, mini hamburguesas... all of them fantastic. I strongly recommend. Fair price.

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
