Someone we met at random and recommended this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The wait was long but worth it. Everything we ordered was terrific. A definite must at least once when in Barcelona.

Waited 10 mins in the queue on a Tuesday night (sometimes it can be longer) the food is delicious fast service (sometimes too fast) better ambience than in la flauta balmes. Nice staff. To be recommended!

We were quite impressed with the food here. The foie gras was excellent as noted in several reviews. Service was good not great though he rapidly accommodated me in English. The crime Catalina was also great. How can you find anything bad to Say about restaurants in a country where wine is so inexpensive!

Stumbled upon this place fairly close to our hotel and we weren't disappointed. Excellent tapas, efficient and attentive service and at a reasonable price. Good selection of delicious sweets to follow and obviously very popular with the locals - always a good sign! Recommended.

Top quality tapas. There are other more casual and less expensive spots with the same cuisine, but if you want to keep it classy, it's the place to go.

Good find. The reviews are right. Nice tapas. Specially the grilled squid. I really enjoy the cooked garbanzos with prawns. Excellent!!!! The wine was good also and it was a cheap one. I'll go back next time for sure!!

Our guide took us here for some tapas and wine. We sampled several different dishes and they were all very good. The wine was excellent. Everything was reasonably priced.

After three long weeks in Europe we were trying to make our last meal in Barcelona great. We weren't sure where to go but knew we wanted a more local place. We asked around and even consulted Yelp and settled in la flauta. We got an upstairs table in the middle of the room and were able to see all... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
