Delicious tapas style food. Very good service. Looks like it's a hit with the locals too. Busy restaurant but food was served quickly. Definitely enjoyed and would recommend it.

I have eaten here about ten times so far. In each case the food was very good, and the service efficient and kind. The cooking is mostly Catalan, with seasonal variation (they had a great dish of veal with rovellón mushrooms in the autumn). The price is good too, with a weekday three-course lunch menu at €14,50. The restaurant is... More

La Flauta is a popular spot for tapas, and if you want to get a table without having to wait you'll need to arrive before 8 pm. Good food, reasonable prices, excellent service.

Still the best value in the area. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An extensive menu with reasonable price. Attentive staff happy to help. A favorite.

We arrived just past 1pm when they opened and were sat right away, but there was a line when we left. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful getting us situated with our daughter, who is good for maybe an hour in a high chair, then starts getting fussy. The staff were all lovely, quick and efficient, which was greatly... More

Got in for a business meeting to enjoy a good late lunch with friends and business partners, fast service, good food and a very good value for your money. Had enjoyed all dishes, i strongly recomend the paella withe either seafood or meat. In the deserts take the Flan. Enjoy it

We had a fabulous evening dinner at La Flauta, some from the menu and some chose different tapas dishes, so a very good mixture, service really good busy with Catalans later into the evening, if it's good enough for them it's good enough for me, I've been here many times & will continue to go here. It's quite close to... More

Just called in here for a coffee and found the most amazing tapas bar with counters filled with fresh seafood ready to be cooked to order. Had the broad beans with ham and prawns, grilled shrimp with calamari and prawns with octopus. Incredibly fresh, tasty and good value for excellent quality.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
