One of my favourites

Although always busy and plenty of tourists, this is one of my favourite places in my hometown. Quick service and the best quality/price.

The staff are a little rushed and not friendly but the tapas more than make up for it. Great location and definitely worth a stop.

We've been there twice over the weekend. Once for Dinner, once for late night food. Got both times a table in no time. Great service, very good food. Friendly atmosphere.

If you want authentic Spanish cuisine, this is the place. But talk about diversity . . . most of the wait and kitchen staff is Filipino or Asian, but they speak fluent Spanish and make the best food and drinks. To top it off, it is obscenely inexpensive.

We only had to wait about 10minutes for a table here (arriving just before 10pm) having put our name down on the list and seated at the bar until my name was called. The service really varied here depending on which staff member you got - because the place was so hectic it sometimes felt like the staff were just... More

If you're looking for a cosy dinner for all evening this is not the place. It is fabulous food with so many choices but extremely busy with queues most of the time. On advise from local we arrived at around 7.30 and we were seated immediately as there were only two of us. When we left at ariund 9pm there... More

We were here for dinner three times during our one week stay in Barcelona in June 2015. It was recommended to us by a local. The food was excellent and the tapas were the best we had in Barcelona. The restaurant has a good selection of wines as well. The service was good. We came without reservation and the first... More

While planning my trip to Barcelona, I have consulted with my friends about places to eat. The name that was repeated was La Flauta. I was happy to find it, 5 minutes walking from my rented apartment in the Eixample district. Since we stayed 5 nights, we decided to have a go at it in the first night and afterwards... More

So good I was there for breakfast lunch and dinner almost every day. And never had the same dish twice. The sea food display is amazing. You just want to have it all. Best dish was oyster and Cantrell mushrooms with squid and Serrano ham. Or Pulpo a la Gallega or everything else on the menu.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
