Late night meal

We travelled to Montjuic to view the Magic Fountain for the last show of the night (11pm) to find that F1 had a car exhibition in the way so visitors couldn't get a good view of it. We paid to go up the lift to the top of the Arena opposite, where we discovered we had the perfect view. We... read more

Coincidently i came across this place while looking for a place to have a simple breakfast. Was great. We had a pasta(croissant) with cafe latte. I particularly fancy the latte here! If you want decent breakfast with efficient price, I definitely recommend this place!! 카페라떼가 진짜 굿임. 여행의 한가지 묘미는 로컬을 느끼는 것. 경험하고 싶다면 추천!!.

We were headed back to our apartment and stopped in for just a tapas, but the daily special sounded so good, it couldn't be resisted. The price was very reasonable and I was pleasantly surprised when the waiter asked me if I wanted my pork medium or well...something I haven't experienced often in Spain. I ordered it medium and it... More

Very good restaurant that serves typical Catalan food at very fair prices. Bread and Alioli are as good as you would find out in the country and the grilled meats are top quality. The Premium entrecote was superb. Even the house rioja was very good value at 5 euros for a half litre carafe. Service was quick and efficient. If... More

Had lunch here last week. A nice place with intersting decor and a good atmosphere. The cannelloni and macaroni starters were excellent but the meatballs were served lukewarm with extremely hot fried potatoes which was a bit disappointing. Obviously the meatballs were left to wait too long for the potatoes to cook. Tasty though. The service was quick but a... More

I did go with my work colleagues for lunch. I knew from before but hadn't try for some time now. I was surprised on how tasty and good the food was. Price is also good, not cheap not expensive. Staff is nice but a bit rushy with the dishes when they want to clear the table a bit. Recommended.

This is a great place whether is for a typical tapas stop or a grilled steak dinner. The decoration of this Restaurant is quite amazing (old fashion) and cozy. Excellent food quality service.

Maybe we just went at the wrong time on the wrong day but we were very disappointed. Christmas eve, early evening. We went there on recommendation as I'm coeliac and they have a special gluten free menu. The menu was very limited and uninspiring and whilst I appreciate the need the prevent cross contamination with gluten items, some more tantalising... More

This restaurant was great value and the service was friendly and quick. The food was traditional Catalan and very good. It is decorated with interesting old photographs of Barcelona and if I had been staying longer would have been tempted to return

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
