Nice Pintxos!

We stopped off here for a quick lunch in between our hop on and hop off bus tours and it was a good choice indeed. Don't worry if you're not sure what you are going to get or what it might look like as the menu is presented to you in pictures of each pintxo. We ordered five each, with... read more

We stopped because we needed to eat after going round La Pedrera. Wished we walked one block further south to Citrus (looked more inviting). Soft drinks cost more than beer (for 20cl bottles) and the quality of the tapas is variable, some are nice, others were tired and uninspired. We had one round for the 5 of us plus a... More

The tapas are good but dont worth the price. About the service its really bad, we asked a beer after asked for the tapas but even after 15 minutes after we finish to eat, they still hadnt bring the beer. We cancelled the beer and asked the bill, it took 20 minutes to bring the bill without the credit card... More

Perfect for a lunch or dinner. 49 creative and tasty "pintxos", good sangria around 11€ (1L). You can choose between 3 places (2 Paseig de Gracia, 1 Plaza Catalunya). Good to know: prices are not the same on the bar (cheapest), at the table inside, and on the Terrace (the most expensive). To do absolutely !!!

We've been there two times. İt has a good location and outdoor seating was great. This restaurant is not expensive. Pincho Urruti was awesome. The sangria is good. Would recommend.

The selection of tapas at Txapela has to be one of the most extensive we've encountered. What a joy to sit back and savor such a wide variety of ingredients and flavors. I know we got a little carried away as we saw patrons come and go while we were still placing additional orders. The photos really provide a glimpse... More

We discovered this place our last night in Barcelona. We loved it. If we found it sooner, we would go there more times while in Barcelona. It serves great little sandwiches. We went to the one at the Paseig de Gracia at the evening and the next day, for our last lunch in Barcelona, to the one on Pl Catalunya.... More

A friend and I stopped for lunch here and it was fantastic. There is a choice of 26 cold tapas and 26 hot tapas. prices from 195-295 euros. You can view them from the counter inside the restaurant or from the paper place mat on the table. We had 5 tapas each and they were all delicious. There are 3 restaurants... More

The tapas here was some of the better we experienced in Barcelona. However, we were left stranded when there was a change in server and the new waiter seemed completely out of his depth - more interested in pouring wine from above his head rather than actually catering to our needs. I would go there again for the food but... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
