Couple of drinks and a few pintxos

Really nice. Enjoyed the pintxos. If you're not sure what things are, just point and try anything that looks nice. Each pintxo is just a couple of euros so it's no big deal if you don't like it. Gin and tonics a bit expensive though at 12 Euros each. Get a caña instead. Note that the caña there... read more

For our 80€ the 4 of us had a nice selection of small tapas and a nice bottle of red wine for our evening meal. Service was ok but halfway through we had a staff change and he was hopeless - slow and miss ordered - consequently the tip went to zero! Glad we went but probably want bother a... More

Went there for a quick drink and a bite to eat. There was a table available so I pointed over to the seat and the waitress nodded to let me know I could sit down. It then took 15 minutes to clear our table of the plates and full ash trays. She handed us a menu and was then gone... More

Nice assortment of menu options, service is slow but fairly pleasant. Tapas quality is well below par. Portions and quality are not impressive and are generally overly dependent on salt as the main flavor - there's better within a short walk

Overall, the food here is really good. These are pintxos, so don't expect the usual tapas. Everything is served on bread. It is also a really pretty restaurant with seating upstairs as well as on the street. The issue here is the staff. They could certainly use some instruction on treating customers cordially. A few recommendations wouldn't hurt.

51 different tapas should be enough to satisfy a "sudden" hunger. Prices around from 1,95€ to 2,45€ have a very good ratio price-value. Sometimes you will have to wait during rush hours to get a table, but, maybe to have a German beer on drought could be an argument to wait.

Pinxto's were not bad, not anything exceptionally special. Staff was friendly and English speaking. Staff handeled orders in a rather chaotic way, but not bad if you are looking for a reasonably priced dinner.

Nice place and big choice of tapas, but the lady from the staff who served us was really horrible, we had to wait for a very long time, as if she ignored us and preferred other clients, all in all I was not able to not enjoy the food because of such a poor service... Shame

Stopped a this tapas bar on the way back to our hotel. Wow, really fantastic tapas. Really cheap and the kids tried things they would of never done normally. Fab service and the staff were very helpful with the menu.

We ordered a variety of tapas for three adults. Our favorites were fried asparagus, scrambled eggs with jamon, bacalao, a veggie tapa and A tapa with shrimp. All I can say is, yummy. They have pictures of all the tapas and an English description on a separate menu. Very helpful and makes for a pleasant experience. Even though my daughter... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
