Nice rfestaurant

Nice restaurant, fair food and great prices. The menucard has been the same for the last years, but the choices are still great :-)

Went with a group to this huge, fun restaurant. Though big and busy, didn't feel crowded. Good food. Happy atmosphere. Different levels (and a lift!).

Went to this restaurant on a recommendation of a close. I brought my mother with me and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience here. The head of the restaurant Juan Carlos was a complete and utter gentleman who was very attentive throughout the meal he ensured that our glasses were always full with water and the other with... I don't tend to write reviews, but I feel it is my obligation to do so for the sake of all you out there planning to go to Balthazar to eat. This restaurant used to be a good place for group business dinners but I will never go back after the last time. I made a reservation a week before,... More

Wonderful place in the wider centre of Barcelona. Interesting food choices, delicious and good portions. Very good value for money. Pleasant staff and excellent sangria. Desserts to die-for. Definite recommendation for foodies.

It is convenient, but completely characterless. Think of it as the kind of restaurant that you might in any random airport in Europe or in the US. The menu is a weird mixture of flagship dishes from a a variety of cuisines (Spanish, Asian some Italian, some vegetarian, some broadly Mediterranean, some Burgers ), and while all the dishes are... it's situated in the Eixample neighborhood, universities, bars and small clubs area. the place is very dark and very well furnished. it looks like an old disused factory converted excellently well. the quality of the food served is more than adequate being as prices are very low for quite posh style of the place. I enjoyed the cod carpaccio and... More

Such prompt service that we were served our appetiser prior to the wine being served. Plates were taken from the table before all of us finished. It felt like a "quick eat and go" service. Shame as decor and surroundings are nice.

This restaurant was close to my hotel and looked expensive however it turned out they had very good fixed price menus both for lunch and dinner. It is a great concept part if a chain with different names and locations around the city that serve reasonably good 3 course meal for 10 euros for lunch and about 20 euros for... More

This was not such a good experience. The room is vast, very impressive. The service is devoid of any humanity The menu had potential. However, when the food arrived this was less than mediocre. The pumpkin soup was cold, the nachos non descript. The lamb was overly fatty and unpleasant. The tuna main course was good and the bed of... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
