Not Much Good to Say

It is not often that I agree with the worst reviews for a restaurant but in this case I do...best I can say is that the prices are reasonable, just not very good. The pizza was the best of the lot and that was ho-hum. Lot' better choices nearby.

We thought it would be a good idea to have a meal at this restaurant, but boy, we have never been so wrong. First of all, it took them 10 minutes before they noticed us (there were 3 waiters and we were the only table in the restaurant !). Second, they aren't very flexible. They had a couple of special... Our first night in Barcelona, we were absolutely starving & found this restaurant with what we thought was a "great value" special of 3 tapas, paella & ice cream . We ordered a special each & two Pepsis. We only received one of the specials ordered & we never received the dessert. When we paid for the bill they tried... More

We fell into this tourist trap on our 1st night in Barcelona. How unfortunate that this set a bad tone for the city. The staff were so rude. They got our order wrong THREE times and tried to blame it on us. We finally got fed up and told the waiter that we were no longer waiting anymore. We told... More

I has the pizza 10€ special while my 21 yo son had the pasta special. He liked his but was very hungry and can eat with not much discrimination. My pepperoni pizza was pretty poor with 3 pieces of pepperoni and strops of ham! on it and the base was like cardboard . After we paid and didn't tip the... More

We selected €10 dinner special - 3 tapas and paella. The paella at nandos is better. Tapas were greasy, flavorless sides. At least the glass of coke we ordered was decent - as it should be for €7!!!! Bad food, bad service, horrific price.

Great churros with chocolate but expensive due to the location in Las Ramblas. You can get the same churros half of price in other places out of Las Ramblas

Ordered Paella negra and regular paella. Both tasted okay, as we don't really have anything to compare them with. There was a waiter who was a fellow Filipino and we got great service after being turned away by a rude waiter at San Remo also along La Rambla.

Got the deal for 3 tapas and paella for €10. Thought everything was delicious-got mussels, crab cakes and tuna salad-thought it was all tasty and very good value while we sat and watched the world go by..drinks are pricey! Staff are friendly and efficient!

We had a group of 6, which they handled very well. They had a 3 tapas and an entrée special, which all 3 couples went with. The waiter offered to pick the tapas variety, and we were happy with his selections, and got to try a nice variety. The food is good, and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
