I havent seen a place that makes you feel like home, just in your first visit! This restaurant make my day after a long walk around barcelona. What I'm trying to say is, that everyone who get to know it, is about to repeat the visit What I like the most is the smell of good pizza, the desserts (is... More

Me and my wife were actually looking for an Asian restaurant, but because we had to wait for some taxfreepapers in a shop nearby we ended up here "just to get something to eat while waiting". That was the best waiting I had for a very long time! The service and the smiling waiter was a good start. But when... More

The food is ok. You are given some Italian grissini to nibble while you wait for your order. I'm not satisfied with pizzas; steer clear from the classic one (in the photo). However, cannelloni with meat and raviolli with funghi are good and beef steak is not bad as well. Tiramisu is excellent! You can choose your own sauce to... More

I've been coming to this restaurant since 8 years ago and the experience is always the same: Really good. Pizzas are really tasty (with thin base) and pastas are never disappointing. Friendly and attentive staff. U should try Bravas Bravisimas as a starter!

You have to try Bravas here as their brava sauce is like no other!! Although that can be said about most places and their bravas, this was different and nice. Service was good, quick and pleasant. Food was very good and value for money. Sangrilla was nice too. Would recommend it.

I cannot complain about the politeness of the servers. Obviously a tourist, I was treated friendly and quickly. The "Chef" pizza was how I like it: thin crust, little tomato sauce and cheese, fresh ingredients. As a nice touch, the waiter will offer to slice the pizza for you. The tiramisu was good, too. The restaurant seems to be is... More

We had a lovely light dinner here: pasta with a cheese sauce and the "Pizza Iberica": Iberian ham, tomatoes, and shaved Parmesan (no tomato sauce) on a crust so crispy it shattered when I tried to cut it. Very unusual and very tasty. Raco is in a nice shaded setting on Rambla Catalunya, a few blocks away from the tourist... More

I had a Queen Margherita pizza, it was very tasty and I finished it all, however it wasn't hot on arrival and it was obvious it had been out of the oven some time before it was served. Another friend of mine ordered spaghetti and it was seriously overcooked and looked as dry as a bone. I felt a bit... More

El Raco was next to our apartment in Barcelona, so the first night after early start and whole day of traveling we just walked in to grab something to eat before going to bed. We came back tomorrow for dinner again. We had pizza, which was excellent - crispy and delicious. Salads were also very nice. Staff were friendly and... More

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
