We ate very good tapas here and the pizza was good (but expensive) as well. Wonderful Cider! All in all one of the best places we went to in Barcelona!

We had to wait a little while for a free table but it was worth it. The food was really nice and you can escape the busy traffic for a while... although it is still very crowdy here.

I had such high hopes of a nice evening when I first walked through the doors of the El Racó but the bad service turned my evening quite sour. The restaurant was very spacious, almost resembled a canteen, and it was very brightly lit. Not a good choice if you wanted an intimate table for two. The male staff seemed... More

Hurrying along the streets of Barcelona on the way to a 9 PM concert, we seven Americans knew that our stomachs couldn't hold out until after the performance so we hoped to find an open restaurant along the way - no dice. Inviting restaurants - one after another - were yet to open for dinner. As we rounded a corner,... More

Pizza ok - very thin base so not especially filling. Service not good which seems to be a common theme in Barcelona - a bit curt, unfriendly and didn't bring the dessert and when prompted it took ages. Also took a long time to bring the change after I paid. I can't recommend eating here as the service is not... More

I ate here around 11pm after arriving in town. While i pictured more traditional medditeranean, i was not disappointed! The service was great, atmosphere nice--open and airy and light with classy, sinple decor. I had the veggie pizza, which was amazing--thin crispy crust--and im a pizza fanatic, sometimes hard to please. Great value for the quality of food and drink,... More

We went here late on evening and were totally surprised at the standard of food and service for what we paid. The pizza my wife had was far nicer than what you would get at pizza express and was much larger for about the same price. My burger was lovely.

We were looking at the menu outside when a couple came out and said try it....its very good....so we did. We sat outside and ordered our drinks. We ordered a caesar salad and caprese salad to start and then each ordered a savoury pancake and they were absolutely delicious. I then ordered a sweet pancake which was amazing. Served with... More
