Friendly service; food was good!

Seems like a chain, but was good quality food, clean restaurant, friendly service and seemed to genuinely care about customers. Ordered grilled vegetables which were delicious and perfectly seasoned! Easy place to stop with friends, families, couples or solo. Not much atmosphere, but still good... read more

We wanted to get into another restaurant for dinner in Barcelona on the same street--Rambla Catalunya--but it was too crowded. We were a little tired of tapas so we decided to go into the first pizza place we ran across, which was El Raco. The waitstaff was professional and very attentive. My husband ordered one of their regular pizzas, which... More

really nice food and pleasant staff however im left very hungry after choosing the "more than decent size" or pasta. Was great... while it lasted. However it was very clean and inviting, would recommend sitting outside rather than inside.

Seems like a chain, but was good quality food, clean restaurant, friendly service and seemed to genuinely care about customers. Ordered grilled vegetables which were delicious and perfectly seasoned! Easy place to stop with friends, families, couples or solo. Not much atmosphere, but still good choice for pasta, pizza and salads with a few typical appetizer selections.

this is on the street , we had pizzas and burgers - everyone was happy and the staff were polite . Food was decent and cost us around 75 euro , which tends to be the average cost for eating in barcelona

We enjoyed a wonderful evening, relaxing with pizza, Sangria and friends in the outside evening air on Las Ramblas. After walking and sightseeing in the hot sun all day our discerning pizza pallets voted the pizza delicisioso. The waiters were friendly and attentive. Definitely go and relax and eat at El Raco' pizzeria mediterrania. Www.elraco.com.

Great food and great service. My wife had the steak and I had pasta, both were cooked to perfection and tasted great. Followed up with great desert. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Stopped in for lunch, and when we entered the manager had told us that it was outdoor seating only. It had been a hot, long day of walking and at this point I wanted AC, so I said no thank you and walked out. When I was walking out he said that we could sit inside even though they don't... More

As I passed by this place, I never thought that it would be rich of such goodness! On the outside, it looks like an average place but the food is phenomenal! The entire places looks so inviting as you continue to walk inside. They have a huge menu on the outside of the resturant, so you know what you can... More

Stopped in here for lunch. The atmosphere was very cool & inviting! Staff was very helpful. The steak here was phenomenal, as was the cava sangria! Had the ice cream and it tastes so fresh & vanilla was delicious, it was clearly made in house. The food came out relatively quickly and was not expensive at all. Overall, i was... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
