This restaurant is not the typical Chinese restaurant. It has sober and modern decor. The food is correct and even very good depending on your choice. The assorted dim sum (grilled, steamed and fried) was a bit disappointing; the steamed dim sum were the best by far. Shrimp with salt pepper Sichuan were delicious although they were not spicy (?)... Just take a rice portion and a main dish. It's enough for two. If not, just take another mean dish. The openers are too expensive and not worth the price.

I am not very fond of Chinese food and was reluctantly looking for a nice place as my granddaughter had asked me to go to a Chinese. I found Out of China a good place as it was close to the places we were visiting. I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was very nice, the place was clean and... More

Quite pricey restaurant for Barcelona standards. Small plates, but quite a good variety. Vegetarian friendly - not easy to find in Chinese restaurants.

After 5 weeks of traveling around Europe for 5 weeks, we just needed a change of cuisine and was missing our regular Chinese meal. The restaurant was recommended to us by the concierge of the hotel - the restaurant was beautiful, the service amazing. Now for the food, had a beautiful mixed dumpling platter and then shared two dishes and... More

I had heard good things about this restaurant from fellow coeliac sufferers so was excited to check it out! On arrival we were greeted warmly and as soon as I mentioned I was coeliac the waitress showed me the menu with gluten free items clearly marked out and also explained they are very clued up with cross contamination so no... Had the lunch menu for 11€, which I consider not overpriced (though not cheap either) for a city like Barcelona. The dishes were a bit boring and got repetitive because of the big portions: they mostly consisted of two ingedients and a sauce. The food was enjoyable at first because the ingredients were fresh and flavorful, but by the time... More

The shrimp hamburger is good. But you get only two for 3.5€ The main course dishes were okay. A little too oily. They had great ambience. Was expecting better food.

We ate here two nights in a row because the food and service were so good and we wanted to try more of the menu! There is a large and varied selection of clearly marked gluten free foods and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. For starters as a coeliac, I could even have dumplings (pork with Chinese chive was... More
